Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Story by Arnold Schwarzenegger touches on various facets of his life. For instance, he includes pictures of his days as a world famous bodybuilder. There are also pictures of from his career as a Governor of California and various magazine covers that interviewed him. He is also pictured with various famous people such as Warren Buffett, Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson, George Bush, John McCain,Tony Blair, Sylvester Stallone, and The Dalai Lama. Strategist Steve Schmidt, chief of Staff Susan Kennedy, and Communications director Adam Mendelsohn are also pictured and among those credited with helping him to get re-elected in 2006. Last, but not least, Arnold Schwarznegger includes pictures of his former wife Maria Shriver and his children. Please know that I understand that both have moved on and are happy with their current partners (therefore I only mean good by what I’m about to say and I prefer to avoid choosing sides). However, it is clear from the pictures (containing Maria Shriver and their children) that he (Arnold Schwarznegger) loved and is going to continue to love both her and their children (i.e. wanting the best life for them).

Start Your Own Public Relations Business: Your Step by Step Guide To Success by Entrepreneur Press and Jacquelyn Lynn contains different ideas on public relations firms that a man or woman can build: such as Nonprofit public relations, Reputation Management, Special Events and much more ideas documented (titled under Public Relations Specialties pages 14 &15). I admit that I’m lucky to also seen real-life examples of people who own their own PR (public relations firms)such as in the millionaire matchmaker episodes and real-life people featured in both the Washington Post and Washingtonian magazine. As a matter of fact, my husband was actually impressed by one of the men featured in the millionaire matchmaker episodes who had started his own PR (public relations)firm in what looked like his early 20’s (Tyler Barnett firm based out of Los Angeles). Anyhow, this book is packed with detailed content for those determined/intend to own their own PR firm one day with information such as: brief yet detailed information on Edward L. Bernays(he lived from 1892-1995), the man who is listed to be the “Father Of Public Relations” and who was a nephew of Sigmund Freud (page 3), The Internet’s Impact On PR (public relations)Strategies and Reaching The Public Through Blogs (pages 48-51), and External Analysis/External Opportunities (pages 125-126).

This Is How You Pitch by Ed Zitron. Zitron discusses how he came to work in the public relations industry. In the Introduce Yourself section (pages 1-21), Ed Zitron discusses one of his first professional experiences of working in public relations through his employment with PC Zone, the first gaming magazine in England. Zitron’s employment with a public relations firm in New York City is also mentioned and his take on the BBC network as compared to some of the major television broadcasts here within the U.S. He also tells an interesting and funny story of how he loved to play online games and gives an unadulterated perspective on his storytelling (page 101).

Destination Towards Financial Increase:, November 22, 2014
Fortunately, I received a free complimentary copy of Smart Women Finish Rich by David Bach after attending a seminar that was recently held in Bethesda, Maryland. I found out about the seminar through both an ad featured on one of the local newspapers and an e-mail from Washingtonian magazine. I wish to avoid sharing extensive details on what prompted me to take the area of personal finance more seriously. However, I do feel comfortable admitting that I realized that I needed to evaluate how I can make some changes to both my spending habits and increasing my income after receiving an e-mail with a quiz that helps to uncover which unconscious belief was affecting my money patterns. I wish that I could remember and credit all the names involved in sending this lifechanging e-mail (in my yahoo inbox)but I think it might have been one of the e-mails from being an e-mail mailing list by Gillian Hood. I took the quiz and uncovered that the unconscious limiting belief affecting my abundance the most was money is not that important. I reluctantly admit that this was an important revelation for me because I have frequently heard the idea of money is not that important communicated through various people both within/as well as outside the spiritual/new-age community. My husband went with me for support because he was aware that going to the seminar and allowing myself to receive Smart Women Finish Rich by David Bach was the first step towards me healing and taking action towards dealing with my limited conscious belief of money is not that important. This book contains both motivational and informational angles to personal finance. For instance, pages 82-83 touch on how to persist in the face of financial feasts and challenges. Bach includes a chart to implement to get around the financial tests of life. The Latte factor is covered in both the seminar and this book. It is hard for me to admit that my latte factor is obviously books and cds. Therefore I understand that it is up to me to find a healthy balance between being more financially moderate when balancing my latte factor with saving at least 12 percent or more of each employment paycheck. The latte factor is discussed in pages 87-105. Pages 106-210 discuss the three basket approach to saving (security, retirement, and dream baskets). The Finish Rich Success stories (pages 283-300) actually inspire and motivate me towards taking intuitive action to be one of those success stories within 16 years from the time of this written review (or earlier).

Sibling Quadrant Of Conspicuousness And Aspiration?, November 22, 2014
I admit that I found out about the book Sons of Wichita: How The Koch Brothers Became America’s Most Powerful And Private Dynasty by Daniel Schulman via an Amazon U.S. recommendation. I have an idea why this was in my personalized recommendations, however I wish to avoid sharing how this came to be at this time. The book opens with a prologue where two of the Koch brothers (David and Bill) are boxing each other as teenagers and are being closely watched by a retired marine named Morris. Then there is the background story on how the parents of the four Koch brothers met each other (on page 7). Chapter One includes information on how the four brothers (Frederick, Charles, David, and Bill) were known during their early years. Frederick was class valedictorian of Hackley High Schoo. He also loved music, art, and literature. Charles was viewed early on as a heir to the business empire and also attended private schools (such as one in Arizona and Culver Military Academy in Northern Indiana). David and Bill were listed to have attended Mineha MiddleSchool together (Wichita, Kansas). Later on, David Koch chose Deerfield Academy in northwestern Massachusetts for prep school while Bill Koch is listed to have picked an alma mater of his brother Charles: Culver Military Academy (page 26). The abstraction of love is included in this book as well. For instance, pages 168-169 touched upon the playboy image of David Koch and his subsequent meeting of Julia Flesher. Bill Koch’s preparation and win for the American Cup (yachting) is featured in chapter ten: The Art of War. Pages 287-288 feature one of the lavish events held in Aspen, Colorado to coincide with the same year of the 2010 mid-term elections. As per this book’s author Daniel Schulman (page 287),the setting was recorded to have been in the chandeliered Grand Ballroom of St Regis Hotel and was recorded to have the following notable guests: Phil Anschutz, owner of Examiner and The Weekly Standard, leveraged buyout pioneer John Childs, multimillionaire investor Foster Friess, hedge fund manager Ken Griffin, founder and CEO of Citadel LLC, multiple members of the Marshall Family who had a stake in the Koch industries at 13 billion dollars, Blackstone Group CEO Stephen Schwarman, one of David Koch’s neighbors residing at New York’s 740 Park, Charles Koch son Chase Koch, an executive at the family company and Chases’s wife Annie, and the CEO’s daughter Elizabeth, a writer residing in Brooklyn.

Wealth Created Politically?, November 22, 2014
Millionaire Republicans: Why Rich Republicans Get Rich-And How You Can Too by Wayne Allan Root covers the author’s perspective on how his family life shaped him and provides information for why he believes that many Republicans live a life of financial opulence. I can say with well-meaning conviction that I respectfully disagree with some of his ideologies (such as what is with him being so harsh on Al Gore?). However, if one can be open-minded to give his book a chance there are various gems of information such as: in chapter five titled “Not All Millionaires Are Created Equal” Root makes it clear that he went to school with classmates who came from affluent and democratic backgrounds and he goes on to generously share some of the occupations that helped create this economic success. Root also shares his own examples of persistence and makes a persuasive case as to why a person would want to consider moving to a place where they could buy half the home in certain states (pages 151-157). The real estate coverage that Root includes is highly relevant even now because it is becoming common knowledge that many homes across the United States are being paid for in cash and simultaneously snapped up both by economically successful U.S. citizens and a high number of moneyed foreigners who were born outside North America (from across various continents).

Obviously Good For Those Who At Least Have One Bachelor’s Degree, November 22, 2014
I purchased Getting What You Came For, The Smart Student’s Guide To Earning A Master’s or PH.D. by Robert L. Peters, PH.D. due to my own interest and determination to take more college classes related to my professional aims. I was fortunate in being able to successfully complete my first bachelor’s degree within three years (I started during the of fall semester of 2009 and completed my first undergraduate degree program by December 2012). However, I reluctantly admit that I arrogantly believed that obtaining my first bachelor’s degree within 3 years and my 8.5 year military experience would be sufficient in obtaining a government or private sector job that pays at least close to what I made as an E-5 in the United States Navy. In my newfound humbleness, I’m more than aware (without needing to be reminded by my critics) that I must think and act more strategically to stand out from a large sea of a talented crowd of men and women in the Washington D.C. who have more professional experience in certain popular career sectors and/or those who have attend highly ranked and/or well-known universities/colleges. Therefore, I was eager to purchase this book that contains among the following insightful details: Pages 57-72: making sure to be realistic about which schools to apply to for admission(fortunately, I am lucky/thankful to have been accepted into my 1st choice dream school and the advice does match up with the expectations that I had to consider). Pages 159-174 cover information pertaining to thesis committees. Additionally, pages 319-358 (chapter 24)touch on details related to the helpfulness of deciding/sticking with a career path and ways to request an appointment with professionals already employed in student’s chosen career field. This book is worth it just for chapter 24 alone because it includes tailored advice for both grad students and non-grad students who have just chosen to take more college classes related to their dream job (even if they have already obtained their bachelor’s degree and are simply taking more classes at another college outside of where they received their first undergraduate degree). For those have yet to complete their bachelor’s degree I would gently recommend books by Cal Newport.

I admit that The Hungry Girl Diet: Big Portions, Big Results Drop 10 Pounds in Four Weeks caught my attention after I saw it promoted on a talk show I was viewing while in the waiting room for my appointment at the D.C. VA Medical Center. Pages 70-83 feature meals such as Strawberry Peach Oatmeal Parfait (page 144), Banana-Berry Yogurt Bowl (page 153), and Faux Fried Chicken Strips With Side Salad (page 180). There is also a recipe for Fajita salad (page 157).

Weight Loss Surgery Options, November 22, 2014
It was an uncanny experience purchasing Weight Loss Surgery: The Real Skinny by Nick Nicholson, M.D. and B.A. Blackwood before spotting an ad for a weight loss related surgery in a local area newspaper less than six weeks later. I have decided to first approach losing weight without necessity of surgery and have even bought and kept some of the following magazines for additional inspiration and a positive reinforcement that reaching my goal weight is possible through the following magazines: Life & Style Issue of Christina Aguilera displaying a weight loss success of 150 pounds to 110 pounds in just 8 weeks (October 27, 2014), A Special Feature from People magazine called The Ultimate Diet Guide People Half Their Size featuring a woman named Kaitlyn who went from 263 pounds to 127 pounds (was on display in certain stores until July 4, 2014), US Weekly Magazine issue featuring NBC’s Biggest Loser winner Rachel Frederickson successfully going from 260 pounds to 105 pounds (from my humble perspective her story is motivational and phenomenal because she is listed to have lost 155 pounds in 7 months). The US Weekly magazine issue (featuring Frederickson)is from February 24, 2014 (issue993). Last, but not least, there is another inspirational feature of Ok Magazine covering Jessica Simpson’s successful 70 pound weight loss from 195 pounds to 125 pounds (issue 49 December 9, 2013). However, purchasing Weight Loss Surgery: The Real Skinny by Nick Nicholson, M.D. and B.A. Blackwood was an important purchase for me so that I can be better informed about certain options in case they have to be implemented such as: You Enlisted But Your Spouse Was Drafted, The Impact of Weight Loss On Your Marriage (pages 37-50). Honest details are shared on what to expect in a marriage when the variable of successful weight loss is introduced. There is also the feature of Chapter Eight of My Weight Loss Is About Me, So Why Does Everyone Act Like Its About Them?. Details in chapter eight are given as to what to expect from both enthusiastic (happy for your success) and less than thrilled (uncomfortable about your success)friends and family members who are going to see and/or notice your successful weight loss campaign.

Outside The Box Information, November 22, 2014
I understand that a different month’s magazine issue may already be available by the time I post this review. However, I admit that I spotted this November 2014 magazine issue of Outside at my job and obviously decided to take a chance on it. There are interesting articles in this issue such as: page sixty to seventy one titled under Work< Play, Live: This Way Forward An Eight Step Plan For Rebooting Your Career and Finding A Job You Love by Abe Streep. Illustrations are by Peter Arkle and the following are some of the men and women featured: Adam Fetcher 37, Director of Global PR And Communications Patagonia. Fetcher worked on multiple press jobs in the Department of Homeland Security, he then worked on President Obama’s re-election campaign in 2012, and launched a communications firm in Minnesota before being contacted by Patagonia in 2013. Tom Stewart, Michael Charley, and Megan Miller are some of the multiple people featured within the inspirational article. What I enjoyed the most about the story being written is that some of the men and women featured are in their late 30’s/early 40’s which sends a positive message that a person can experience a career breakthrough later in life regardless of their professional aims and/or what their skeptics think.

Informative Hampton Roads Area Book, November 22, 2014
I purchased the Insider’s Guide: Hampton Roads Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Newport News (first edition) by Tony Germanotta because my husband and I use to live in Norfolk, Virginia from February 2008 until April 2009. Additionally, I have been keeping my options open as a just in case scenario of places to live if I had to live on minimum wage for a certain period of time while in the process of increasing my financial net worth. Additionally, I calculated that my current wages would stretch farther in this area. For example, there is a helpful section on restaurants 56-87, Nightlife coverage is on pages 88-99, and annual events and festivals are featured on pages 168-182. For couples and/or single parents with children (whether to reside there or just to visit) there is a feature of a chapter called kidstuff on pages 183-194.

A Mobile Home Book Relevant to the Increasing Popularity Of Mobile Home Investing, November 22, 2014
Before going into the review of Mobile Home Wealth by Zalman Velvel, I feel the urge to write a preface.Yes, less than three years ago I did declare that my husband and I would permanently settle within the Washington D.C. area for the rest of our current lifetimes. Yes, the Washington D.C. area is a popular and good area to live in because there is so much to do. However, my husband and I have now decided to keep our options open on where we would live long-term and what type of residence to live in in light of the escalating costs for apartment rents within the D.C. area. We are carefully choosing where to live long-term and where to rent because we do not use government assistance to pay for our rent, but do not consider ourselves superior to those who are forced to do so (just luckier). I purchased Mobile Home Wealth: How To Make Money Buying, Selling, and Renting Mobile Homes by Zalman Velvel from the author’s website for advice on renting and/or buying a mobile home. The content within the book turned out to be different from what I expected, but still good information. Some of the following details that Velvel includes within his book: The dramatic story of the hard decision he had to make when he saw a teenage mother whose mom was in jail and why he decided to keep a mobile home property as a rental (pages 65-67), the three deep dark secrets of lenders (pages 232-233), and pages 306-307 of managing your atm and building a power team.

FabJob Guide To Become An Event Planner by Jan L. Riddell, Carol Palmatier, Tag Goulet And Peter J. Gallanis includes the various parties and holidays where an event planning career comes into relevance; such as Mardi Gras, Academy Awards, Super Bowl, Presidential Inauguration, New Year’s festivities in Tiimes Square, any other major events we hear or see about on television: I took this to be the major New Year’s events/parties across various cities within the U.S. (introduction section pages 1-6). Chapter Two starts on page seven and opens with the question What An Event Planner does and includes mention of neighborhood block parties, holiday parties, and Special Events magazine (page 9). There is a cd rom included in the back of the new copies and/or certain used copies (obviously depending on where it is ordered from). Bizbash Magazine is a publication within the United States that covers event planning celebrations. Event planning is even a popular career outside the United States. For instance, Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry are two famous people who have been referenced online to have done work within the event planning industry. Additionally google Britain Events magazine and a man or woman can find online links to event planning publications such as Event Magazine (from the UK), The Main Event magazine, Stand Out Event Magazine, and the Daily Mail UK website (where there is a section on events and a feature on a Dolly Parton story connected to a UK Event magazine).

Ideas For Blogging, November 22, 2014
I confess that my career interests and spiritual pursuits inspired me to purchase How To Start A Blog That People Will Read by Mike Omar on Saturday November 1, 2014. I was also inspired to engage in blogging after discovering Blog Inc. by Joy Deangdeelert Cho back in 2013. Imagine my positive surprise when a local area newspaper covered a person with her own blog during just this past week (I see this as a positive spiritual sign from the universe about my plans for my google blogspot and tumblr profiles). Last, but not least, for me having a blog will allow me to store websites and interesting articles that I observe from places such as Yahoo News, Forbes, Money, CNBC, Town and Country, Womens Health, Inc. etc. Some of the following informative ideas in Omar's book: some of his recommended websites and pointers on writing and setting up blog posts (pages forty one to forty six, pages 47-56: finding ideas for posts and writing non search engine optimized blog posts, and pages 78-83 (promoting your blog). In the spirit of this book and discussion of blogging, I admit that I plan on reviewing more items that I have already purchased and website links (within the next 2-3 days) not as a way to show off, but more as a way to share and get feedback on topics of interest that come to me via creative and/or professional inspiration.

Informative/Inspirational Book, November 22, 2014
I felt compelled to review Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey due to recent life circumstances that have nudged me to re-assess my life when I realized that I could achieve financial freedom for my husband and I by the time I am 50 as long as I stop financially digging even with just having a minimum wage job and figure out some creative ways to double down my saving and LEGALLY increasing my income (due to the fact that it is just my husband and I). Ramsey does advocate making sure to stop digging. However, I understand that I am going to have to make some other tough choices when it comes to following the principles in his book. For instance, he advocates the cash cushion amount needed before one pay extra towards what they owe. However, a person such as myself is obviously going to have to figure out a way to ensure I have an 8 month financial safety cushion in order to pay extra towards what I owe and set a timeline on when I would move to a place with a lower cost of living and at least a somewhat healthy job market for at least minimum wage jobs. The main reason why I rule out living with my family members is mainly because both my biological and adoptive families live in states where a native born U.S. citizen obtaining even a minimum wage job is extremely difficult (in the adverse job markets in those areas (such as those in Illinois and Wisconsin). I’m actually surprised that there is little media mention on if there is an adequate number of politicians focusing enough attention on the American states hardest hit when it comes to job creation. Anyhow back to the review of the book, inspiring stores are covered by people who are successfully making financial progress strides sprinkled throughout the book,(for instance the story of Brian and Tammy McKinley pages eighty-four to eighty five), Sandra and John Marsh (pages ninety two to ninety three), and Autumn Key (pages one hundred thirty eight to one hundred and thirty nine). The only other caveat to this book is that he is against the taking out of student loans for college. I reluctantly confess that I would like to continue to take one college class each semester directly related to a career that I intend to pursue (even though I already have one bachelor’s degree). I have reconsidered taking out a student loan to help pay for my first class. However, in light of my realization towards attaining financial freedom by age 50 and the spirit of this book, I realize now that I must only allow myself to potentially borrow (as a last resort) towards paying for the first class, but make a decision on whether to temporarily halt my studies if I’m still looking at borrowing as the only option for my second or third class.

Taylor Swift Spreads Her Musical Aspirations and Flies, November 22, 2014
I must preface this Taylor Swift review by mentioning that my motives were harm-free when I unintentionally left out that my view of Taylor Swift’s popularity was inspired by reading up about how others also saw her fame rising (in my previous review of her song “Shake It Off”). I must give out credit to multiple people without mentioning them only with good intent and because I first heard of her song “Teardrops On My Guitar” back in 2007 via the radio when I was living in Florida (I also believe that a radio deejay is endorsing the possibility of an artist becoming famous when they play their music on mainstream radio stations. With that said, I had the chance to purchase and enjoy Red by Taylor Swift back in 2012. 1989 by Taylor Swift is even better than Red even with the musical experimentation into having a more poppy/dance sound. I would most likely check out any music video that she releases from 1989. However, I would have to say that in addition to Shake it Off, I also enjoy the following songs the most on 1989: Blank Space, Style, Out Of The Woods, Wildest Dreams, This Love, I Know Places, and Clean. 1989 by Taylor Swift is best for those who have liked any of her previous music offerings and/or enjoy country or poppy dance type music.

I first heard of Paradise Circus from Massive Attack through Pandora around some time last year. This is another song where I wish that I understood the full meaning because it brilliantly mixes synth-pop and ambient chillout melodies. I’m only guessing that this song is about coming to terms with both the spiritual light and shadowy aspects of yourself and staying resilient regardless of how you are treated by both your critics and supporters.

Angel by Massive Attack came to my attention when I was looking for the Afterlife Remix of a song by a dance musician named Amber. Anyhow, Angel by Massive Attack sounds to me like a careful blend of chillout and trip-hop melodies (similar to the sneaker pimps). I wish that I understood the full meaning of this song. However, I feel that the music video that goes with it is pretty interesting.

I first heard of the original version of this song back in the late 1990’s as a teenager (from the Chicago Illinois radio station B96). Recently, I heard of the Afterlife Remix of Sexual by Amber through Iheartradio. This version mixes elements of ambient chillout into the dance version. For this reason, I would recommend this song either for those who enjoy dance and/or chillout melodies.

MTI Alum Shares Some Success Secrets, November 22, 2014
First off, one of the unique features of this book is that the author covers what to do if someone steals and implements your ideas before you had the chance to take action on them. The Smart Way To Your Ph.D.: 200 Secrets From 100 Graduates by Dora Farkas, Ph.D. covers areas in the book such as 12 easy ways to get organized, being persistent about writing (pages 206-213), resources to help you plan and apply for graduate school (pages 289-299), and resources for organization, relieving worry and anxiety, preventing and healing repetitive strain injury, books to help enhance communication and writing skills, job searching resources, and unique links such as those for international job opportunities (all on pages 289-317). Within the past five years, I know myself enough to know for sure that I now only want to take one class at a time, and this book provides some ideas for me to cultivate a more balanced life with my educational/scholastic pursuits. I have successfully taken 5-6 classes a semester before, including at least 4 classes in a single summer semester. Additionally, I have known of people who have achieved the combination of taking a full course load on a full-time work schedule. However, I know what is best for my own path in order to allow time for other professional and spiritual growth pursuits in my life.

Joyanne Cobb's Eventful Journey, November 22, 2014
I admit that there was a time in my life when I wondered whether or not I had a learning disability due to the fact that I have first felt different from others (even different from both my biological and adoptive family members)since the time I was 7 years old. This feeling of being different did not go away even after I achieved the recognition of being the 8th grade class valedictorian among a scholastic ranking of 389 other middle school students. I eventually underwent a series of tests to check for this years later (even against the wishes of one of my work supervisors who patiently tried to explain to me that I’m wasting my time choosing to take one of tests because he saw potential in me but felt that my differences were related less on my intellectual capacity/more related to needing to improve on my social/communication/relationship skills). Imagine my embarrassment when I had to admit to my work supervisor that the observation was correct and the professional administering the tests confirmed the same results but with the added advice that I needed to work on my self-confidence. Anyhow, I still felt drawn to checking out the book of Learning How To Learn by Joyanne Cobb due to reading about her bravery in persisting to complete her undergraduate degree at George Washington University even after encountering harsh/adverse judgement from her critics. I read about how she felt like stopping after receiving her first Bachelor’s degree from GWU in 1993. However, after receiving encouragement from someone at the university,she courageously continued on to successfully receive her MA in 1995. I first read about her compelling story on a link connected to her website around 7-8 years ago. The back of this book also highlights some of Cobb’s educational and professional milestones. Finding The Right College For You (Chapter 5 pages 35-43), Assistive Technology (pages 47-64), and pages 65-69 cover Cobb’s experience and tips on time management.

Slightly Turned My Political Beliefs Upside Down, November 27, 2014
I unintentionally came across this dvd being featured at a redbox machine location in the Washington D.C. neighborhood of American University (Tenleytown-AU metro transit stop). This documentary is not normally something I frequently watch, but my open mind compelled me to check it out for some reason. The beginning of the dvd documentary made me cringe and I almost did not want to continue watching it because I did enthusiastically vote for President Obama back in 2012 and would like to believe that deep down his intentions are frequently good/well intentioned for the American people even if his name is connected with some controversial/highly politically charged issues. In Dinesha Dsouza’s defense, he did include a wealth of information in America: Imagine A World Without Her. The following are some of the features/details in the dvd: Lionsgate Presents movie trailers for The Expendables 3, Draft Day, Almost Wanted Man, movie about President Obama by Dinesh Dsouza, and promotional for Epix (epixdotcom). Then the content of this daring yet detail packed documentary: brief Colonial re-enactment of an alternate reality of what could have happened if George Washington would have been killed or if the Civil War would have split the U.S. Dinesh Dsouza also conducts interviews with some of the following people: CharmaineWhiteface, a Native America Activist and a cultural member of the Great Sioux Nation, the tribes ancestral lands includes Mount Rushmore, a very controversial interview with Charles Trujillo. Charles Trujillo is a Professor of Chicano Studies at the University of New Mexico and a strong believer in Chicano Nationalism. Trujillo admitted that he doesn’t feel the need to move back to Mexico because he feels that he is already in Mexico (the area that he lives in within the United States) and that he is in America but not of America. Trujillo also admitted to telling his Chicano students of how he feels when there isn’t a United States. He is part of a movement affiliated with reclaiming lands in the U.S. that use to be a part of Mexico. Georgetown academic Dr. Michael Eric Dyson,MIT Professor Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Professor Ward Churchill, Professor Ron Radosh,Ted Cruz, and Henry Louis Gates are among the multiple people featured in this documentary. However, the one area that did elicit uncomfortable feelings was when Dsouza connected President Obama and Hillary Clinton with the late political activist Saul Alinsky. Dsouza featured voice recordings of Alinsky admitting to having an objective to convince a millionaire donor to give away a large part of his money towards his cause on a Saturday and he implied little qualms about the potential of that same millionaire to be executed on a Monday. I was truthfully hoping that it was just some false doctored recording, however it did sound genuine. I looked up some information on Saul Alinsky which mentioned about one of his last interviews that he had with Playboy magazine. Alinsky’s feelings on where he preferred to go if there was an afterlife (even if he was just joking) did kind of match (in a scary way) with how Dsouza was portraying Alinsky in the documentary. There is much more this documentary that I just included in the review (I even have more of the notes I took in a notebook). However, I felt compelled to include information on why my political beliefs were turned upside down after being exposed to America: Imagine A World Without Her by Dinesh D’Souza and John Sullivan.

Robert Collier’s Ideas, November 27, 2014
Be Rich: The Science Of Getting What You Want by Robert Collier lists spiritual and practical ideas for improving one’s lot in life. For instance, on pages 4-8, he discusses his interpretation of heaven. I also like that he implies that one must avoid becoming discouraged at initial setbacks when going for a particular career and to instead do what a man or woman can to continually persist until their career dreams manifest into life. Collier translates this into practicality by giving the advice for a person to learn all they can about their goal career and doing what they can to sharpen their skills (such as taking classes and/or other online courses comes to mind when I think of this advice)for that job until that career becomes a part of their reality.

Short Yet Potent Book, November 27, 2014
It Works: The Famous Little Red Book That Makes Your Dreams Come True by R.H. Jarett is a book that communicates the idea that it is easier to manifest what you want as long as you are clear on what you want, write it down, and look at it daily. It is also emphasized that it is vital to also request that whatever you want is also in harmony with what will give both you and other people the greatest good (page 21).

I reluctantly admit that I have missed serving on active duty navy since January 2013 and I went to navytimesdotcom to subscribe to a six week subscription to navy times (the print and digital edition that also allows one to see the current articles immediately online). I forgot when I first initially heard of navy times. However, some of the earlier times that I remember purchasing the navy times issues were back around 2006-2007 (when I was stationed in Florida).The delivery of the navy times newspaper was extremely fast, taking into account when I subscribed to navy times and when I received it. I also like that the company affiliated with the Navy Times subscription sends me the issues of navy times on time each week. The following are some of the article features in two of the navy times issues (one navy times issue from November 24, 2014 and another issue from December 1, 2014); discussion of the Va Overhaul on page 6 of the Nov. 24 issue, an ad from Chase Bank recruiting military members, discussion regarding Capitol Hill meeting of Iraq strategy (page 8, Nov. 24), EA-18 Growler Aircraft ad, article discussion titled Retired Admirals Warn Lawmakers Against Fleet Cuts and The Navy Now Campaign spearheaded by a Washington D.C. public relations firm , which has roots in the Aircraft Carrier Industrial Base Coalition and Amphibious Warship Industrial Base Coalition (page 16 of the Nov. 24 issue). The December 1, 2014 issue has: an ad from Walmart for Walmart 2 Walmart money transfer , article on Vice Admiral Scott Swift (page 3), an article regarding renewal money in Afghanistan (page 6), career advancement numbers based on military jobs (pages 20-21), and car bargains, I especially like that my dream car was featured: a mazda 3 (pages 28-29). I use to own and drive a mazda 3 when I was still in the navy, which is part of the reason why it is my favorite car.

One Of A Kind Rules In The Richest Man In Town, November 27, 2014
The Richest Man In Town: The Twelve Commandments of Wealth by W. Randall Jones (listed to be the founder of Worth magazine) contains information that is listed to have helped make multiple people wealthier. I say unique information because frequently discussed details are given as to finding your perfect pitch (pages 40-50), Be Your Own Boss (pages 51-66), and Get Addicted To Ambition (pages 67-82). However, one of the topics I take issue with is Location Doesn’t Matter (pages 118-121). Yes, in the author’s defense, I do agree that there is opportunity for men and women to become rich anywhere in America and that many of America’s wealthiest are concentrated across each state within the U.S.. It is common knowledge that this is one of the reasons why the United States Of America continually attracts immigrants of multiple nationalities and from various places/corners of the world. I’m also aware that even in states hardest hit by the economy, a high number of men and women still manage to find employment that helps secure them an income of at least three thousand a month or higher after taxes. Additionally, the emphasis that location does not matter does help me to feel better about having to consider relocating completely outside the Washington D.C. area (within 28 months) and helping me to understand why I am determined to find a place where my husband and I can put down our roots. However, a hometown location is not always ideal for everyone especially if you are in a situation where you have to weigh cost of living with availability of at least minimum wage jobs. Fortunately, I have already narrowed down my location choices for eventually putting down roots to 2-3 for my husband and I regardless of what my critics may think. However, these 2-3 choices are quite a long distance from my hometown and for reasons I prefer to keep secret. This is why I take issue with the location doesn’t matter mantra because I feel that the statement may apply to some people but not to everyone (depending on their career and long term money goals). Aside from that caveat, the Richest Man In Town is a great book.

Without Revealing Too Much and being civil on what is in the book via the review, But You Knew That Already: What A Psychic Can Teach You About Life by Dougall Fraser touches on various aspects of his life such as what he had to go through when coming to terms with his love life and combining that with his career. For instance, he mentioned how he enjoyed being part of a radio station in Texas that allowed his talents to shine. However, he felt the sting of not being invited back because of another radio professional not yet feeling “comfortable” with how he (the psychic) lived his personal life. One of the reasons why it appears that he naturally felt hurt was due to the radio job being offered to him after he gained recognition of being the best psychic in Dallas. Fraser also admitted that he felt like the psychic hotline that he was temporarily employed with was only one small step up from working as a prostitute (page 114).

Unique Charting Towards Goals, December 12, 2014
The Map-To Our Responsive Universe Where Dreams Really Do Come True by Boni Lonnsburry contains a multi-tiered approach to manifesting dream goals. For instance, pages 147-198 touches on the various levels of beliefs and ways to replace harmful beliefs with more advantageous beliefs. Chapter Eights-Action: Accelerating The Process discusses ways to get the ball rolling towards doing what a person can to try to help shorten the time towards the goal. I admit that postponing the inevitable is one area that I’m definitely in the process of working on. I say this because both of my husband and I mutually agreed back around the autumn season of 2011 that we both enjoyed the Washington D.C. area enough to try to live here permanently, especially because we both truly believed that we would be able to find government jobs within the D.C. area with our military experience. Obviously, I now realize (in order to make my current pay stretch farther for more savings after I pay rent), that I’m more likely going to have to look into the pros and cons of moving out of the Washington D.C. area even though I’m going through mixed emotions about having leave the Washington D.C. area.

I found this movie at the five dollar movie bin at my Walmart job, but I am happy to have done so. Legend starring Tom Cruise, Mia Sara, and Tim Curry is a fantasy movie that illustrates the metaphorical idea of spiritual darkness versus spiritual light. Tom Cruise plays a happy and care-free forest dweller named Jack who appears to be in love with Princess Lily. Jack unintentionally gets drawn into a spiritual battle to help save Princess Lily when the unicorns are attacked.

Melissa, Jonathan, Jennifer, and the author himself are the case studies used in this book. Catherine Ponder, Neville Goddard, and Ernest Holmes are some of the recommended teachers mentioned in this book.

Lottery Winner Shares His Secrets, December 12, 2014
Manifest Your Millions: A Lottery Winner Shares His Law of Attraction Secrets by Eddie Coronado caught my attention because I felt that the author is truly trying to share from his heart when he decided to share his book and techniques from the world. I say this with the awareness that some lottery winners do share if they used the law of attract, however I notice others wish to disclose very little including concealing the occupation that they were employed in at the time of their win. As a result, I’m willing to listen to any messages I intuitively receive on ways to improve my own life if someone (such as this lottery winner) is willing to share. Nonetheless, the prospering power of affirmations, creative visualization, gratitude, receiving, universal laws, ways to get in alignment with the universal balance (universal law), and the prosperity action plan. However, the only concern I have about his prosperity action plan is that of total silence. I reluctantly acknowledge that the author probably has persuasive reasons for feeling why professional aims actually need to be kept secret. However, I admit that I’m on the fence about completely/continually keeping my professional goals secret (for women)because I currently come from a family (I appreciate the family members who accept me in their life)where it is rare for women to be able to have a financial income that is also not dependent on what the guy makes. Of course, I intend to stay married to my husband for the rest of our lifetime even after I achieve my financial goals. However, for far too long, I followed the advice to keep my plans under wraps and would end up finding out that other people thought that I was looking to permanently live off others rather than myself (an unfair stereotype I may add based on most likely my physical appearance, outside the mainstream mannerisims, and/or the fact that I’m female). Even some of the people who I knew were not being racist, chauvinistic and/ or stereotypical could not understand why I even bother pursuing a career and financial security and to instead just live off my husband because I’m childfree. However, I have known since the time I was a teenager, that I have always wanted my own career and 2-3 months ago, I realized that I want to do what I legally have to in order to attract an income of at least three thousand dollars per month after taxes (from my side) even if my husband became a millionaire tomorrow. Call me arrogant, but I believe in myself to know that I can create a life of prosperity (making at least three thousand or more after taxes)for my husband and I regardless of what he makes. Yes, this conflict’s with the author’s well- meaning suggestion to keep your career plans secret.

Between Death & Life: Conversations With A Spirit by Dolores Cannon opens with her take on the death experience (pages 1-18). Viewpoint of “schools” in the spirit realm though obviously not in same exact sense of how an earth based school is. Page 61 also touches on the delicate/controversial topic of why the spirits of some men and women voluntarily choose to be born with certain body, mind, and learning conditions. The Grand Tour (pages 62-87) and where issues become highly delicate such as in the handling of bad lives (pages 110-131) and ghosts/poltergeists (pages 169-178).

How Rich People Think by Steve Siebold covers information from the multiple interviews that the author had with millionaires. The 208 pages contrast middle class thinking with what the author terms world class (millionaire viewpoints). However, one must have an open mind because he includes controversial details such as: Middle Class teaches their kids to be happy with what they have while the world class (the wealthy men and women) teaches their kids how to go for their dreams (pages 188-189). Additionally, I reluctantly admit that I now fully understand exactly what the author means when he says that the middle class only focuses on money when they need it while the world class focuses on money all the time (pages 204-205). He also generously shares some further links (various money and business subject books) for knowledge by including an additional rich resource after each of the contrasting beliefs of the middle class and wealthy class.

Making Your Mental Movie (pages 12-13), Discerning A Divinity Test from a message to give up (page 101), synchronicities that prove your manifestation is “cooking” (pages 101-102), Don’t Settle (page 103), Writing It Down (pages 136-137), and Put Events On Your Calendar (pages 137-138). I especially liked the putting events on your calendar idea because it encourages me to refine and update my plan (as well as continue to persist towards certain goals) even if I may sometimes have to revise the original date.

Part Biography/Part Channeled Perspective From The Author, December 12, 2014
You Can’t Make This Stuff Up: Life Changing Lessons From Heaven by Theresa Caputo (Long Island Medium) contains some uplifting information such as how angels walk among us,information given to her on an angelic realm in the spirit world and ways to read the spiritual sign language that is being sent from heaven. She also bravely gives her candid viewpoint on why she believes that souls go to various levels in their afterlife depending on their energy and how they lived their life on earth (she also relates it to the sad and tragic story of reading for a client who lost her daughter to a murder-suicide tragedy initiated by her boyfriend). In pages 38-41, Theresa Caputo also gives a nod to musician Lady Gaga. The only major caveat I had with this book is that there is information left out that there are spirits in the lower realm that do eventually move on to higher realms once they are willing to accept help from benevolent heavenly spirits and truly agree to change towards being a soul of greater spiritual light (the book Laws of The Spirit World by Khorshed Bhavnagari covers this a little more in detail). However, in the author’s defense, she may have already been aware that many spirits in lower realms are not permanently stuck in the lower realms but wished to avoid including it.

Saw A Movie Poster For Belle, December 12, 2014
As per my review title, I actually found out about the movie Belle due to a movie poster of this film catching my attention inside the Regal Gallery Place Stadium 14 movie theater (Washington D.C. location). However, around the time the movie was released, I had a difficult decision to make between seeing this or another movie in the movie theaters. I confess that I went with the other movie,, but went with renting this dvd when I saw it featured a redbox location near the University of Maryland College Park campus. Gugu Mbatha-Raw stars in the prominent role as Belle, and is shown in the beginning of the movie only briefly spending time with her biological father due to the nature of his job (he is a British Royal Navy Officer). He is able to find family members to take her in but the transition is not easy for any of them due to the times that they were living in even with being upper class (the movie is set in 1700’s England). Her father’s uncle William Murray and his wife Elizabeth raise her up in the household (played by Tom Wilkinson and Emily Watson). On the positive side, Dido’s character enjoys a close relationship with a cousin close in age who is pretty much like a sister to her (Lady Elizabeth Murray played by Sarah Gadon). Dido’s guardians are concerned that her mixed race will prevent her from receiving marriage proposals. However, Dido does get the romantic attention of two men: from Oliver Ashford (played by James Norton) and John Davinier (Sam Reid). She obviously has to make a choice and it becomes clear to the viewing audience which man truly loves her regardless of how much she is worth. Meanwhile, Dido’s guardians are contending with the delicate balance of handling the stress of the trial involving slaves who met a watery grave without causing too much stress in their marriage.

Life Changes for Various Archer Members, December 12, 2014
Let’s Just Say What Happens to Archer, his mother, Alana, and other members of their company are the least of their challenges when the government becomes involved. It is extremely funny to see the adventures that Archer, Lana, Mallory, Cheryl, Krieger, Cyril,Pam, and Ray have to help each other through starting at the first episode. Obviously, it was easy to get my husband to watch this Archer season 5 with me because he has also enjoyed the previous seasons of Archer and was the one who actually introduced me to the series. The episodes featuring Cheryl’s talent as a singer coming to surface and the Kenny Loggins episode were some of my favorite episodes from season 5 of Archer while my husband’s favorite episodes were ones where Cyril rules as a dictator.

Endearing Series, December 12, 2014
My husband previously watched and enjoyed the Fruits Basket series. I decided to watch it with him and could understand why he was introducing me to the show. The movie centers around Tohru Honda’s adjustment to life and getting through life as she simultaneously deals with the death of her mother (who she was very close to) and accepting help from the Sonoma family. There are three boys of the Sonoma clan who frequently look out for her and see the good in her as she does them. She even manages to be the peacekeeper and mediator for one of the family members who makes his living in fashion, but is ostracized from the family due to this unique quirkiness. The way she does her best to help bring harmony between him and one of the brothers is heartwarming and helps the viewer understand why she is like a breath of sunshine (metaphorically) for the Sonoma clan.

An Inspiration Purchase, December 12, 2014
: I’m only taking this up for fun. However, Brave Intuitive Painting by Flora Bowley is also ideal for those who want creative inspiration for seriously pursuing an art career. I admit that multiple people inspired me to purchase this book. The most recent inspiration I can recall is the Education Of A Guardian Angel by Annie Stillwater Gray book where the author candidly opened her heart on how art is a kind of therapy for her (which is what gave me an idea to take action on getting this book to dabble in art as a therapeutic release). Fortunately, my husband said that he would not mind joining in with me to create art as a creative healing outlet. Letting Go of Perfection, alternating warm and cool colors, variation-the spice of life,and spiraling in are some of the various topics covered within the book. Complicated As Folk, December 12, 2014
First off, I must add that I did enjoy watching Queer As Folk The Complete First Season and truthfully felt compelled to order it due to this being under a show that is about PR. I laugh now as I admit that I was expecting something like a modern day version of Mad Men and/or Scandal when it comes to the representation of public relations. The show still turned out to be good and I was pleasantly surprised to hear some songs that I have previously enjoyed listening to even before I heard of, purchased, and watched the show. The show centers around the characters of Brian, Justin, Michael, Emmett, Ted, Lindsay, Melanie, Debbie, and Vic. It is a messy yet interesting love scenario due to the fact that Justin is intensely in love with Brian. However, Brian is in no rush to give his heart completely to anyone. For instance, Michael has known Brian for much longer than Justin and even he has more of a platonic friendship with Brian. Lindsay and Melanie are truly in love with each other, and at the same time Melanie feels frustrated at times with the relationship dynamic between Lindsay and Brian. Michael’s mother Debbie is highly compassionate and a surrogate mother to the rest of Michael’s entourage: Brian, Justin, Michael, Emmett, Ted, Lindsay, and Melanie. Debbie is also close with her brother Vic is not afraid to hold the truth back when needed and yet still offer constructive advice. Emmett is sometimes naturally concerned about Ted being taken advantage of in the romance department and is also not afraid to hold back his concerns with Ted. Michael has to contend with his romantic feelings/and slight but harmless jealousy of the dynamic between Justin and Brian while making sure to be a good partner to Dr. David Cameron. Justin opens his heart tremendously to Brian while also tactfully handling a complicated friendship with his supportive friend Daphne. A Path Into Another World, December 12, 2014
Yes, I understand these movies are for kids. However, I admit that I rented Barbie and the Secret Door (via redbox) as a subconscious way to stoke my creativity. Barbie and The Secret Door has the character of Princess Alexa wanting to explore different avenues of dancing and other creative outlets outside of what is usually expected of her. However, Princess Alexa gets a gift that is better than she expected when her grandmother gifts her with a book that activates her imagination and helps transport her into another fascinating world. The World is filled with much brightness, happiness, and the highly magical inhabitants appear to enjoy playing outside in nature a lot (I noticed various flower symbols). However, there is a girl living in that kingdom that lives in a good house and wants for very little. However, she does not want to leave the inhabitants alone and wants to kidnap them to harness their magic not realizing that the most powerful magic has to come from within her.

The Drama I Know, December 12, 2014
People I Know stars Al Pacino, Kim Basinger, Tea Leoni, and Ryan O’Neal. Robert Redford is credited to be one of the executive producers and the following are some of the movies that I remember being featured in the preview of this dvd: movie trailers showing images from Cold Mountain, Goodwill Hunting, Trainspotting, Cider House Rules, Shakespeare In Love, The English Patient, and Life Is Beautiful. The movie centers around the character of Eli Wurman ( Al Pacino) as a very successful public relations rep who appears from the beginning of the movie that he is naturally ready to leave New York behind and start a new life somewhere else. However, one of his old clients (Ryan O Neal) sees him and ends up leaving Wurman to deal with his ex girlfriend (Tea Leoni). However, the movie takes on an ominous tone when Eli Wurman goes to a party with her and she takes an item that she says is going to expose a lot of people. In the midst of this his close friend (played by Kim Basinger) is trying to convince him to follower her back to Virginia. Some of the achievements of the Eli Wurman character were shown at the beginning of the movie. Two of the men affiliated with the movie discuss why they did this (included in one of the features of the dvd).

Sex And the City: The Movie comes with a viewing trailer for the season dvds, a Get Smart movie trailer, and what looks like a Nights in Rodanthe trailer. Sarah Jessica’s movie character of Carrie Bradshaw has everything a woman her age could want. Carrie Bradshaw is even featured in a magazine spread celebrating her ehgagement. However, her fiancée Mr. Big gets a crazy case of cold feet when one of Carrie’s friends basically implies that he better be careful about getting married. Meanwhile, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) is living with a man who is both cute and successful. However, she is a little out of her element temporarily because she is not living the normal fast paced lifestyle that usually accompanies an ambitious PR professional of her caliber. Please understand that I acknowledge that other actors/actresses also have contributed to this movie. I was just relaying what immediately comes to my mind when I recall this movie as I type.

I admit that I was curious to watch the Good Shepherd after reading online that it was affiliated with the idea of a secret society (such as the mention of Skull & Bones, and I’m guessing hidden references to others such as Illuminati etc.). Anyhow Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, and Robert De Niro are among the famous people that star in the movie. Matt Damon plays a CIA agent named Edward who puts a lot of himself into his job, but must keep a lot of what he does secret from his wife (played by Angelina Jolie). However, the tragic part is that Edward does not care that much about having to leave his wife and son alone for months on end due to the fact that he only married her because he was expected to do the “right thing” after she became pregnant. However, I understand that he (Matt Damon) is only skillfully playing a character (Edward) of one who is a CIA man of his time. Needless to say, the son loves his father but his closer to his mother a lot more. The character of Edward finds out the hard way (through the actions of his son) that there is a price to pay for the life he agreed to live and the secret society pact he is part of. Alec Baldwin, Billy Crudup, William Hurt, Timothy Hutton, and John Tuturro are also listed to be a part of the movie.

I enjoyed watching the dvd set because it illustrates how the right promotion can help skyrocket the career of a famous person even further. It is commonly known that the implied message that is sometimes sent is that many celebrities that get attention for talents because they are more creative than the masses. Yes, I acknowledge that many celebrities do become and stay famous because of their unique talents that they craftfully use towards greater notoriety. However, many self-aware people know that there are less famous people that may have creativity comparable to that of a celebrity (or sometimes even more so)but that sometimes a gifted public relations/communications associate can help keep and/or propel people into the spotlight. This dvd set of PR: Operation Overload plays into the self-promotion and sell concept. Just My Luck (starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine) plays with the question of just how much does a person do to create their luck and how much of that good luck is a result of something else. Nonetheless, Lindsay Lohan plays a highly successful and sought after public relations representative/communications associate related who has the golden midas touch when it comes to the professional projects that she works on. As a result, she is living the good life in Manhattan. Jake (played by Chris Pine), on the other hand, is trying his hardest to change his life around for himself and a band that he helped promised to promote. A chance meeting at a New York party/event causes Ashley to unintentionally switch her good luck with Jake. Some examples of Ashley’s luck: ending up with a drycleaned dress that is worn by Sarah Jessica Parker (known for playing Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City) and she wins multiple scratch offs that she enters. Colorful Oz Remake, December 12, 2014
I admit that I convinced my dear husband to see it with me in movie theaters when this film came out (I was relieved when it turned out that he liked the film too). Additionally, I rented the dvd once I saw this film featured in the redbox queue. Legends of Oz Dorothy’s Return deals with the events around Dorothy and her friends having to restore Oz back to a land of sunshine (on a literal and metaphoric level). Only this time, Dorothy and her friends are going to contend with the witch’s brother who is emotionally painted to be even more scheming than his sister. Strangely Enough, the movie foreshadows the type of characters that Dorothy is going to have to deal with when the Kansas home that her family lives in is in danger of being sold and permanently given to a shady businessman. Of Course,The listing of the all star cast lending their voices is on the Internet Movie Database.

Unexpected Fun, December 12, 2014
I accidently received this cd of Unique by DJ Encore in a second disc that was supposed to be by another artist. In the seller’s defense, this situation is in the process of getting fixed. I was not sure how I was going to enjoy Unique by DJ Encore because it appeared to be missing the vocalist Engelina, she had partnered with him for the Intuition cd. However, I unexpectedly enjoyed this cd immensely and felt that it started off good with Walk on Water.i also like Point Of No Return and Fly. However, I am undecided about which vocalist I like more because each of the singers-this current one on Unique and Engelina from Intuition- breathed life into the songs in their own original way.

I purchased A State of Trance 2008 by Armin Van Buuren on October 15, 2014 as a way to see if this is the same two disc cd that I borrowed from an Orlando Florida library back around September 2009 (when I first got to hear music from one of his collections). The positive: The tracks have a dreamy trance like feel on disc one with such calm melodies such as Out Of The Sky (Kyau & Albert Remix) by Lange feat. Sarah Howells, Spring Breeze (Martin Roth Summerstyle Remix) by DJ Tatana, These Shoulders by Signal Runners and Julie Thompson, and much more.

Financial Magick, December 12, 2014
Wealth Magick The Secrets of Extreme Prosperity by Damon Brand opens with the author confronting the discussion on how some occultists are poor and that there are extremely wealthy people who have never used magic in their life to obtain wealth. He goes on to explain that there is more to it than that. He mentions that there are highly affluent men and woman who secretly use magick to maintain and increase their wealth. However, he explains that many are secret about it because there is great power in discretion/secrecy. He also warns that the magical techniques in this book are so powerful that they will change a person's life and that they must go ahead with doing so if they want the changes associated with wealth (i.e. being introduced to more and/or different people, going different places, spending your time differently, opening more doors, making your distant life a memory etc (all written by him in the beginning of the book). Brand also gives credit for the spells to those shared by other wealthier members of his secret occult group that he belongs to. However, he was chosen to be their spokesperson due to his successful career as a writer. I also felt like he truly understood the life game involved with striving for a wealthier lifestyle when he emphasized that it is ok to use one's pain with their money challenges as fuel to financially better themselves (rather than just ignoring It or trying to convince oneself to believe that money is not important). Before going into the spells for wealth, Brand also tells the truth that a person who owns their own business may more likely obtain their financial objectives quicker than a person with a 9 to 5 job. However, he does not say that a person with a job (whether private sector, federal job, minimum wage job etc.) is doomed to poverty. Rather, he advises that a minimum wage employee/salaried employee (obviously whether private sector or federal government)to either look for a different job, find a way to get a promotion at the company and/or start a side business/additional job (for those who do not want to leave their current job/current corporation).

2014 Nickelback Music Residence, December 12, 2014
I spotted the No Fixed Address cd by Nickelback at my Walmart job, which included a code feature to get the digital edition of the cd.No Fixed Address by Nickelback has eleven songs that combine different elements of pop and rock. Million Miles Per Hour, Edge Of A Revolution, What Are You Waiting For, Make Me Believe Again, Get Em Up, and Miss You, and Got Me Runnin Round Again feat. Florida are some of the songs that reflect the musical genre experiments on the cd. Many people are probably familiar with Flo Rida from his music collaboration with Sia for Wild Ones.

Another Shocking Yet Quality Episode, December 12, 2014
This is another episode (Season 7 Episode 2) that I was also curious to check out because it featured a professional (Jonathan Cheban) who is listed to have done PR work for various celebrities. I can understand why he would want certain preferences and be influenced to prefer a curvy type. However, for some reason, I got the feeling that his true love might actually be on the super thin side (nothing wrong with that) and yet he appeared to be trying to tell himself that she can’t ever be too skinny. Please know that I only mean to be sensitive to what I have to say because I do not know if the female that he chose still harbors feelings for him and I must be respectful of that. However, for some reason, I initially felt like he might have unintentionally overlooked the chance to connect with someone who could have also been a well-matched date for him (at a minimum) when he passed up on choosing the blonde-haired liaison officer/employee. However, I want to avoid saying more on that out of respect for any ladies that care about him as more than just a friend and/or in case the date from that episode also still cares about him (because in all fairness she was a nice person and also a great date to him). For that reason, I am going to avoid saying more even though I did not cover the other millionaire who enjoyed his date . However, I do feel comfortable admitting that I also ordered this episode on October 1, 2014 and chose it for the feature about a public relations professional.

Matchmaking Complexity, December 12, 2014
I am fortunate that my husband freely allows me to see these episodes that give a profile into men and women represented from various careers. Watching her episodes give a fun snapshot into the various careers that exist. I admit that one of my fave past episodes was when she featured DJ Skye Nellor. Anyhow, this episode of season 2 episode 12 "Kevin & Anthony" feature a public relations specialist who owns a thriving business and goes on the show for help in finding love amidst his hectic schedule. The other professional does shows of the R rated variety and wants to find a partner that would be open-minded with what he does. Both men get to choose from people that appear very much established career wise. For instance, one of multiple people that Kevin gets to choose from is an accomplished event planner who is eventually in training to take over for his boss. Naturally, the event planner, even with their apparent ambitious nature, gets naturally nervous when it is time for introductions at the millionaire matchmaker mixer event. There is also a scene where one of the men "tests" his date by pretending to disclose how much money he is worth as a way of gauging the date's nature. This is a shocking yet good episode. I originally ordered this episode October 1, 2014 due to the feature of a public relations professional in the episode.

I originally purchased Angel Numbers by Doreen Virtue back around October 2009 when I was still living in Orlando. This is a fun little book that describes the various celestial meanings of certain numbers. This has been helpful to me because I have sometimes seen certain numbers in my dreams and pop up during certain circumstances. The number sequences go from 0 to 999.

She has career experience working as an advertising copywriter and novels. She begins the book by mentioning the significance of the year 1992 for her. She graciously shares the story of her spirit connection with her late biological mother, which helps explain her insights on heaven and perspectives on connecting with loved ones from the afterlife for her clients. The author includes afterlife communication tools on pages 163-186 and monitoring your night dreams (pages 187-197), and that sometimes communication may not be forthcoming due to the fact that a relative may have already reincarnated back on the earth plane. There is much more fascinating information in this book.

Helpful for Both Those With Life Challenges and From Various Walks of Life, December 12, 2014
in addition to the current version,I purchased a previous edition of Job Search Handbook for People With Disabilities by Daniel J. Ryan back in December 29, 2006 around the time I voluntarily referred myself to be tested to see why I feel so different from others. As I mentioned in an earlier review, this feeling did not go away for many years even after I achieved recognition as valedictorian among my other 389 8th grade classmates. I still kept the book even after the test results showed that my concerns were unfounded, but I was gently advised to work on my self-confidence (due to the fact that my progressing self-confidence indirectly affected my unintentional habit of being a square peg trying to fit into a round hole in various life situations). Anyhow, this book was not a wasted purchase because it gave a state by state glossary of employers who are accommodating towards hiring people from “outside the mainstream” walks of life. There are also the tips about job interviews and how to tell whether or not to disclose your situation. Additionally, the Job Search Handbook for People With Disabilities: A Complete Career Planning and Job Search Guide by Daniel J. Ryan is now available in a 3rd edition published February 11, 2011. A good complement to this book is called: Get The Job Done! 118 Career Tips, Tools, and Internet Resources by Beverly A. Williams. These books are important because the EEOC website (eeocdotgov) does prohibit discrimination based on handicap and/or disability (and obviously perceived ones at that). However, this information is not obvious to everyone.

Pitbull’s 2014 Music Gift, December 12, 2014
Globalization by Pitbull continues the musician’s experimentation with creatively pushing the envelope. Globalization contains various music genres of dance, pop, slight salsa, jazz with popuar hits such as Fireball (feat. John Ryan), Wild Wild Love (feat. GRL), and Celebrate. Please understand that I do acknowledge that all of the musicians on this cd contributed to Globalization in one way or another and what makes Pitbull’s work unique is that each of his cds evolve into various sounds and song meanings. It is tricky for me to pin down my favorite songs because I have already listened to this cd at least three times since first purchasing it, therefore I understand that my song preferences may change within the next 2-3 months, and of course I enjoy Fireball. However, the other songs that have currently jumped out the most to me on this cd are Fun (feat. Chris Brown), Time Of Our Lives (feat. Neyo), Drive You Crazy (feat. Jason Derulo & Juicy J), and This Is Not A Drill (feat. Bebe Rexha). I especially liked that Pitbull showed his awareness of socio-economic issues of some of his fans when in Time of Our Lives he communicates that he has experienced how it feels about the process involved when aiming to climb up the economic ladder of life. Globalization by Pitbull is great for those who are previously familiar with Pitbull’s other songs and/or are open to continual musical experimentation from an artist.

I also decided to give listening to the iheartradio feature after seeing them featured online-through one of the local radio stations in the Washington d.c. area. Anyhow, as in Pandora, iheartradio carries a wide range of music and stations to listen to. It is hard for me to choose whether I like Pandora or iheartradio more due to both apps containing a diverse range of music. Additionally, iheartradio has played music that has been a major mood booster for me during times that my faith and trust have been tested. I also like that iheartradio recommends other stations to try as I’m listening to their music. I have over 30 music stations in my iheartradio profile due to my diverse tastes in music. For instance, the don’t stop dancing radio station came into my awareness after iheartradio featured it to me as a result of the different music I have already listened to on their site. The number of stations and musicians that I have featured in my iheartradio profile could take up another review. However, here is a sampler of the stations/artists that the iheartradio app and website have allowed me to save in my profile; Madonna, pet shop boys, deppeche mode, tiesto, armin van buuren, calvin harris, 2am ambient, pitbull,dancin 90s, Britney spears , adam lambert, euro-dance, Darren hayes, foofighters, the 90s unglued, one republic, lasgo, Swedish house mafia, ellie Goulding, Fergie, robin Williams and many more that could take up the length of the minimum words required for another amazon review. As you can see, the app and website of iheartradio is perfect for those who enjoy a wide range of preferences in music.

I admit that I cannot remember the exact timeframe that I discovered Pandora, but I believe that it was sometime around summer or autumn 2011 when my husband played music from the app during one of our quiet moments together. I enjoy that there is a wide range of stations and music genres that one can listen to. I’m open-minded when it comes to willingness to listen to various types of music. Right now, the top three music stations that I am listening to on Pandora the most are chillout, electronica, and indie dance, although I have to humbly credit recently finding out about indie dance from a public relations specialist named heather whaling of geben communication- who listed indie dance being one of their fave stations online. Sometimes I go ahead and also shuffle the over 20 plus radio stations that are set in my Pandora profile in order to listen to satisfy my eclectic tastes in music. Many of my online music purchases have been influenced by many of the songs and artists I heard on Pandora.

Religious Parody?, December 12, 2014
I admit that I was curious to check out the movie Dogma after seeing the film and the actor Alan Rickman referenced in the book Metatron; Invoking The Angel of God’s Presence by Rose Vanden Eynden (due to Alan Rickman as being referenced playing the part of Metatron). This movie was very entertaining to watch and had an all star cast. The film centers around a group of people and supernatural spirits that are being part of a plan to carry out the battle of good versus evil. They also have to stop two angels named Loki (Matt Damon) and Bartleby (Ben Affleck) who are tired of their earth based lives in Wisconsin and yearn to return to the heavenly realms. Some of the other main characters of the film are Linda Florentino as Bethany Sloane, Chris Rock as Rufus the 13th apostle, Salma Hayek as Serendipity, Jason Lee as Azrael, Kevin Smith as Silent Bob, a brief appearance of Alanis Morissette as God, Janeane Garofolo as a coworker of Bethany Sloane and obviously more actors/actresses are also in the film. There are some shocking but debatable discussion scenes in the movie such as when the 13th apostle falls from the sky and some of the characters are portrayed having to show ‘proof’ why they are genderless. Additionally, I am glad to have had the chance to watch Dogma. However, the movie sends a message that a being (whether human or celestial) is pretty much stuck in whatever place they reside in. Yes, I understand that it is only entertainment, but I have been fortunate to have been exposed to reading material that implies that a spirit can always move up from where they are (even if they have already crossed over and temporarily ended up in the lower realms). I would rather avoid discussing further such a controversial topic on this movie review that belongs on another post (especially since Dogma is an enjoyable movie), but I have to credit exposure to multiple afterlife books for contributing to my ideas on the belief that spirits can move up even in the afterlife.

The one major pro to the book Fasting; 18 hours for your god given body by Debbie Sweetser is that she advocates a meal plan idea that is low-cost/inexpensive and perfect for those who can only afford to purchase certain foods and/or are strapped for time in the cooking department ( too time strapped to cook for 2-3 times out of the day that is called for in other tasty but more costly meal diets). She even generously includes some recipes in her book, such as for fajitas, thai chicken etc. However, the only catch is the intense willpower needed to stick with only ingesting liquid for the next 18 hours in the day, for when the six hour eating period already expired.

Will Smith, Tommy lee Jones, And Josh Brolin stAr in this movie that centers Around the men hAving to travel bAck in time to sAve the world, Almost like A sci-fi version of the Back To the Future pARt two, except Men In BlAck 3 goes bAck to 1969. Josh Brolin plAYs the 1969 version of Tommy lee Jone’s Agent k. As with the Bill And Ted And Back to the Future movies, Men In BlAck 3 plAys with the idea of what would A mAn or woman do if they too could go bAck in time. I read today in A Yahoo news Article that there is tAlk of remaking Men In BlAck without Tommy Lee Jones And Will Smith At least mAking A cAmeo. Introduced to this Artist online, December 12, 2014
I start the review this way because I was actually introduced to the music of ella Henderson via the online british music charts just this past summer. I had the chance to listen to both her ghost and glow singles that were featured on youtube. I then proceeded to eventually purchase this edition of Chapter one Deluxe edition by ella on October 11, 2014. This cd opens gloriously with ghost and glow is the third track on this collection, and also contains soul baring songs such as yours and hardwork. The cd jacket contains lyrics of Ella henderson’s various songs, and various pictures behind the cd holder of her when she was a little girl and pictures that appear to be of some of her family members. Overall, chapter one by ella Henderson is fine for those who like synth pop cds with hints of soul music.

I think it was back around September before his latest cd release. Additionally, I was previously familiar with his music because my husband played one of his greatest hits when we were stationed in japan, where we had met and I would sometimes hear his music as a teenager when my late adoptive mother turned on one of the country music stations while driving. I decided to purchase this collection of sundown heaven town by time mcgraw on October 14, 2014. Many of the songs on this cd are heartfelt such as meanwhile back at mama’s, a duet featuring his wife faith hill.

I was unsure on whether or not to get her queen of the clouds cd at first due to her habits song. Please understand that I am aware that the habits song is most likely therapeutic for the men and women who can relate to what she is singing about. However, from my perspective, the habits song can also send out a dangerous message to heal your breakup pain through habits that will have the potential to give the dumper a smug feeling that they are the best you will ever have. In the singers defense, she is only entertaining, and im aware that it can sometimes be easier said than done to convince the dumpee that their heartbreak will pave the way for them to find someone better for them. This is not to say that habits is not a good song, far from it. However, I decided to be open-minded and give her cd a chance after noticing the quality of her vocals after hearing the habits song enough times on the radio. I have the feeling that musician tove lo has the type of vocals that can carry a song with or without autotune. Queen of the clouds by tove lo turned out to be a better cd than I imagined because there are also some club type and uplifting songs to accompany the cd such as talking body, moments, and not on drugs. Queen of the clouds by tove lo is great for those who are open to listening to club music type of cds with brilliant vocals.

I originally found out about him releasing a new collection through iheartradio and decided to purchase motion by calvin harris on November 5, 2014. I do hope that his star continues to rise because many of the songs on his cd are created with heart and unadulterated emotion. Motion by calvin harris is a club music and trance music cd that contains songs that touch upon both love and having faith that life is only going to get better wish such songs as outside feat.ellie Goulding and summer for the heart component while pray to god feat. Haim symbolizes the faith component. Of course, there are other impressive songs on this cd for those previously familiar with calvin harris’s music and/or those who like party type music.

Strong music effort, December 12, 2014
I found out about the release of sonic highways by foofighters through both iheartradio and a local rock radio station around the late September/early October timeframe. I then finalized my purchase of the cd around October 24 and felt like the purchase was worth it because of songs such as something from nothing, the feast and the famine, and in the clear. There is information online and on the cd jacket to support that the 8 songs represent different cities across the US where the songs were created. This group is also just as good live- I am fortunate to have had the chance to see them perform live back in November 2011. Anyhow sonic highways by foo fighters is perfect for those who are familiar with any of their previous songs and/or enjoy listening to hard rock/alternative rock music

this tennis shoe model of New Balance Women's WL402 Classic Running Shoe,Maroon/White,11 B US is made with material that allows for ease and comfort for walking long distances. However, I was surprised that these shoes did not withstand the rain as much as cheaper shoes that I have previously paid for. In a nutshell, these shoes are great for walking long distances, especially if you rely a lot on public transportation. However, try to have a backup pair ready for the rain due to the material in these shoes being set up for mostly rain-free weather.

this talking to heaven dvd features the celebrities queen latifah, ted danson, and mary Steenburgen on the front cover. This film is based on the real-life work of psychic james van praagh. The movie includes portayals of the difficult life praagh faced as a child when he was striving to cope with his unexpected psychic visions, and did not have hardly anyone to confide in about his situation. However, his mother is shown trying to express as much love and understanding that she could around his spiritual nature. His visions become even more complicated as an adult when he unintentionally sees something that makes even his therapist uncomfortable. However, the biggest calling of his life happens when he ends up using his psychic powers to solve the murders of very young boys who were all without a mother. There is so much more to this show that I must omit out of respect for those who have yet to see the film.

I admit that I purchased dreamers with power the menominee by George spindler and louise spinler due to wanting to know more about my menominee indian heritage. I inherited my menominee indian heritage from my late biological mother and maternal grandmother. In addition, I have aunts in my facebook network who are registered with the menominee indian tribe rolls, many of my maternal aunts and maternal grandmother live in Wisconsin. This book touches on some of their spiritual traditions such as the fact that references to witches and witches, as well as a dream dance group-pages 20 to 21. Further info is included on page 73 on this where it is mentioned that elders of the menominee indian tribe are considered to be potential witches. Page 119 even touches upon a menominee indian’s account of catching a glimpse of seeing heaven. Family traditions and cultural assimilation are among the multiple topics covered in this book of the Wisconsin menominee Indians.

This box of nestle rich milk chocolate favor has six packs of 0.71 ounce packs. This brand of hot cocoa also contains the right amount of cocoa to complement even water that has been heated by the microwave. However, my main caveat is that there is only six packs to this box, although I cannot complain because of the low cost I paid for this box of nestle rich milk chocolate.

my husband got me hooked on swiss miss milk chocolate and I ended up purchasing more boxes of the swiss miss milk chocolate flaver from my job, especially since I was able to easily pay less than one dollar and thirty cents for a box , which is a bargain deal for me on my grocery budget and with how often my husband and I drink swiss miss milk chocolate. The flavor has the right amount of chocolate sweetness without being too underwhelming or overwhelming. As it says on the box, you get 10 packs containing 0.73 ounces of cocoa powder mix. I prefer to heat the water via microwave heat and the swiss miss milk chocolate cocoa stills comes out tasting fine.

I admit that hearing the song animals on the radio convinced me to eventually get the maroon 5 cd. Imagine my surprise when I saw v by maroon 5 featured at my job and this was another collection where physically seeing a copy compelled me to get the cd. In addition to animals and maps, I would also recommend hearing samples of it was always you and sugar as a way to gauge if you would like the sound of the cd. V by maroon 5 is perfect for those who like pop music with hints of euro-dance.

I was unsure whether to get the latest gaga cd release only because I do not listen to this genre as often as I do other music genres. However, something in me had me changing my mind to get this cd once I saw it featured at my job. The musical collaboration between lady gaga and tony Bennett works extremely well on this cd and i found the song cheek to cheek resonating with my soul as I heard it. However, a person must have an open mind to hearing what appears to be 1940’s style of party jazz to listen to Cheek to Cheek by lady gaga and tony bennett due to the music numbers of anything goes, everytime we say goodbye, and lush life representing a sound that you would hear at a major cocktail/music event from the 1930s/1940s.

First heard as a teenager through my older sister, December 12, 2014
I remember as a teenager first hearing this group on the radio and my older sister played their music. I am lucky to have also often heard their hold on song on the radio many times over the years. For some reason the hold on song especially became therapeutic to my ears when I heard it multiple times in 2007 and 2013. I eventually decided to get this collection of the greatest hits by Wilson phillips and im obviously very glad that I did so. There are different songs to appeal to those who are open to listening to pop and rock music that represents the late 80;s/early 90’s, my favorite songs on this cd, in addition to hold on, are youre in love, impulsive, release me, and the dream is still alive. Their music nod to the Eagles via giving a live performance in japan of hotel California is also superb.

I admit that I was curious to eventually purchase ultraviolence by lana del rey after reading in an interview where she admitted to wishing that she had already died. Please know that like millions of others, I wish a happy life for her regardless of how long she lives. However, her honest admission surprised me because I actually saw the positive in what she was saying. I am in the camp who does not believe that she was trying to advocate or endorse suicide. Instead, I interpreted her admission to imply that she just wanted to be real to her fans in expressing that her life is not as perfect as it appears to be. Too many times, I have seen article features where it appears that a celebrity feels pressured (maybe at the advice of their publicist and/or other members of their entourage)to make their life or how they feel more glamorous than it really is. In my eyes, lana del rey was only trying to make it clear that there is a lot more to how she is feeling in her life that lies underneath the beauty and wealth that she is known for. As a result, I purchased ultraviolence by lana del rey on October 11, 2014 as a way to hear a musical sound from someone who is valiantly truthful with how she is feeling in life. There are multiple fantastic songs on ultraviolence, in addition to west coast such as shades of cool, Brooklyn baby, pretty when you cry, track number 9, and old money. The only thing that I would gently mention is that I just wish that there were some high energy songs as well, such as the behind close doors music sample that I heard in early 2014. I understand that she probably wanted to avoid deviating too much from the music formula that her fans love and is on her other music tracks, especially because some of the tracks such as Gods and monsters from her born to die collection represent her one of a kind music voice. However, I just feel that 2-3 tracks in the music spirit similar to behind closed doors would add a quirky yet exciting dimension. Aside from that, ultraviolence by lana del rey is a musically strong cd.

I also bought this frosting from the cake section of my job. This betty crocker hershey’s special dark premium frosting is sixteen ounces and actually is best applied when the cake is freshly baked out of the oven-within five to eight minutes at the most. I spread this premium frosting on the betty crocker super moist triple chocolate fudge cake mix. The combination of that particular frosting and cake made the whole confection a melt in your mouth experience.

This betty crocker super moist cake mix of triple chocolate fudge with pudding in the mix and a 15.25 ounce box is flavorful and bakes well with chocolate pieces put in the cake better – I admit that I used some hersheys bar pieces. The cake does come out soft as it says on the box.

I purchased this hersheys milk chocolate package consisting of a 12 count of 0.45 ounce bars for a cheap and delectable treat to go with the smores treats that I like for both my husband and i. although he likes to eat these as more of a treat. I like using these hersheys 12 pack mini bar pieces because they melt easily in the microwave when I make smores. However, the jury is still out if im going to experiment with using the hersheys kisses for my next smores batch.

This suave conditioner of 28 ounces is listed to be a new Moroccan infusion brand that comes with Moroccan argan oil. This conditioner does help with smoothing my hair and is a bargain brand for how much conditioner that my hair requires in a week.

recently I purchased this 26.5 ounce of cherry almond jergens lotion at my job for a low cost price. I first started using it back in 2000 when I wanted a great beauty product to buy on my budget as a navy E-1. I started using the Jergens body wash and lotion both during this time because I enjoyed the scent of the cherry almond and using the products did not break my budget. I was delighted to get the 26.5 ounces of jergen cherry almond lotion because the scent is still pleasant and you get your money’s worth with the size of the product.

I mention this headline because I am appreciative to have experienced the chance to reside in the Washington d.c. area since may 19 2010. I frequently purchase 6.7 ounce boxes of country time lemonade on the go from my job because they fit perfectly with my budget and craving for discounted citrus tasting liquids I usually get two boxes that contain ten packets to hold me over for at least a two week period and the taste of the lemonade is both flavorful and comparable to what you can get with the country time lemonade canisters. However, I like that the boxes of country time lemonade on the go are available for purchase because they allow me to save my water bottles a little longer and refill the water either at my job or at home and then just pour the lemonade mix in (even for the small 16.9 ounce water bottles with a small opening).

I admit that I was conflicted at first on whether to get these lays wavy milk chocolate covered potato chips when I spotted them in the snack aisle of my job because I knew that I would be indulging. I work the overnight shift at my job, which im happy with doing, however I admit that my weakness for chocolate sometimes intensifies during this time. Needless to say, I went ahead and purchased this five ounce pack of lays wavy milk chocolate flavored potato chips for my meal break and enjoyed the savory blend of saltiness and sweetness of these chips. The only caveat is that the package is small for the price that they cost, which is why I try to limit my indulgence in these appetizing chips to two times a week or less.

I purchased this four ounce package of snack better sahale snacks labeled premium blend of pomegranate pistachios with almonds, cherries, & black pepper from the snack section of my place of employment due to me previously enjoying certain products containing citrus tasting, pomegranate and cherry flavors. this wolf brand chili of no beans is fifteen ounces and went well with the economical yet tasty burritos that my husband and I eat for nourishment on a budget. sledgehammer by fifth harmony symbolizes the feeling of having feelings for someone who stirs up a sense of aliveness in the heart. Fifth harmony also sounds like america’s answer to either the girls aloud and/or the Saturdays (both names which also consist of talented singers). However, fifth harmony manages to maybe pull inspiration from those groups yet still creating an innovative song of their own with sledgehammer. All in all, sledgehammer is great for those who like pop/euro-dance melodies.
