I must
preface sharing this entry from July 23, 2014 of Amazon, Yelp, and Walmart
reviews by making it clear that I feel blessed to have my current University of
Maryland College Park food service job and I would prefer to continue to work there
during my remainder of time in the Washington D.C. area despite the fact that I
am sharing a journal entry from my time at Walmart. I do not regret being
employed at Walmart, but I would prefer and intend to seek out employment with
other companies (Target, Giant, Family Dollar, Aldi’s, Food Lion etc.)if ever I
find myself having to do so for temporary summer employment andor other types
of employment. I am sharing these past entries and plan to share more to make
room for creative and imaginative writing therapy in the space of those past
blogs and to take a spiritual and psychological snapshot of where I was at, in
relation to where I am at now, and where I intend to secretly and publicly go
(in terms of my goals in various areas
of my life for both present and future).
20 Books to Read Before They Become Movies by Emily Zemler
I understand that this article is over two months old and there are movies on this list that have already been released, yet the writer in me is influencing me to keep this list. I understand that these five places are some of the most
popular areas where many people would like to live. I can understand this yet I have justified
reasons why I have other places in mind for my husband and I to permanently
reside at. Even Alexandria, Virginia, an
area that I enjoy visiting from time to time would be a little challenging/tricky
to live at (reside in) long-term due to the cost of living despite the
reputation of a booming economy in that area. However, I am sharing this
article because I completely understand that someone else/other people may find
interest in viewing this listing of five top places for military veterans.
Online Learning Offers Some a Second Chance at College by John Lamar
I am very gladdened that Andrew Seale of Yahoo Canada wrote such an encouraging article on online learning as a path towards a bachelor's degree. I intend to pursue a second bachelor's degree online regardless of what my say about me pursuing another one at my age. Still, I feel blessed to have come across this article.
I had meant to say I intend to pursue a second bachelor's degree online regardless of what my critics say about me pursuing another one at my age.

Bad Blood by Bastille is another song that grew on my after enough times of hearing it on the radio. Additionally, this happened after I heard Pompeii multiple times on the radio and even on one of the music playlists during one of my overnight shifts at work. Bad Blood by Bastille appears to be a song about the singer wanting to put any past situations (of drama) behind him and to permanently keep them in the past. Bad Blood by Bastille is great for those who like the song Pompeii and/or alternative rock with hints of electronica and indie rock.
I admit that this song “The Walker” by Fitz And The Tantrums grew on me after I listened to it multiple times via the radio station DC101 (one of the alternative rock stations within the Washington D.C. area). Ironically enough, this song would pop on my portable cd player (came with fm radio tuner) on my way home from working the overnight shift. I understand that this song may mean something completely different from my interpretation, but I became interested in the song after hearing the lyrics Ain’t gonna stop just cause they tell me so (which is a musical reminder for me to go after some of my dreams/personal regardless of what my critics may say). The Walker by Fitz And The Tantrums is also available on youtube as a music video and great for those who like rock music with indie rock elements.
Do or Die by 30 Seconds To Mars is a very motivational song that reminds me of Up In the Air, but just with a different slant. Do Or Die appears to be about maintaining the resolve to go on and make the best of life regardless of any challenges that surface. There is a touching youtube video of the song with many of the 30 Seconds To Mars Fans (a.ka. the Echelon) getting a chance to speak and what looks to be a touching scene where a fan is comforted by one of the band members (it looks to possibly be the lead singer for the group, though I would have to look at the music video to Do or Die to be certain). Do or Die by Thirty Seconds To Mars is good for many of those familiar to any of their previous songs and/or enjoy elements of rock with hints of synth-pop/electronica.
First Love by Jennifer Lopez was another song that I was curious to purchase after hearing it a few times on the radio and after Jennifer Lopez introduced First Love when she was filling for Ryan Seacrest on the top 40 radio countdown. Once again, I understand that First Love could be about something else. However, I’m only guessing that First Love is a song that symbolizes about being in a relationship with two people that are very much in love and about being in love with someone that is a dream come true. First Love is an upbeat dancepop song
Bailando by Enrique Iglesias( English version feat. Sean Paul, Descemer Bueno, Gente De Zona) also caught my attention after hearing and enjoying it multiple times on the radio and also through the feature of Jennifer Lopez introducing Bailando when she filled in for Ryan Seacrest on the top 40 countdown. This fun dance pop song appears to be about falling in love with someone that brings much bliss (I was guessing the meaning through the song lyrics I look at you and it feels like paradise).
Three to Four Weeks ago, I was listening to a local radio station that also features a weekly top 40 countdown hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Jennifer Lopez was temporarily filling in for him and introduced Empire by Shakira, which I admit, convinced me in a way to purchase the song. I confess that I do not fully understand the meaning of the song. However, I am only guessing from the lyrics of the stars, love, and universe that Empire appears to be a song about passionately being in love with someone. I’m tempted to look up the meaning of this song later on just to see if I’m correct or at least close in knowing the meaning. Empire is a fun dance pop type of song.
I purchased the mp3 version of Evacuate the Dancefloor by Cascada back in 2011 on an itunes card that was gifted to me from my husband. I was curious to get it due to the good feeling that I would enjoy this collection. I actually first started to enjoy Cascada’s music back around 2006/2007 when I was living on the Mayport Naval Base (I had heard Everytime We Touch on one of the weekly top 40 countdowns that was playing via one of the radio stations). Then around this time (2006-2007) I was also exposed to Cascada’s version of NeverEnding Dream (which is also one of her astounding songs). I was then exposed to the Evacuate the Dancefloor song during the summer of 2009 (when I was still living in Orlando, Florida). Naturally, getting this mp3 version of Evacuate the Dancefloor was a natural progression for me. In addition to Evacuate the Dance Floor, I also enjoyed Fever, Ready Or Not, and Dangerous. Evacuate the Dancefloor by Cascada is perfect to get when you want happy versions of dance/electronic music.
I rented the Gambit movie from redbox at a cheap price while simultaneously unsure of how much I would enjoy it. Much to my surprise, the film was even better than I thought. This film centers around an art dealer’s attempts to sell a fake painting to a very wealthy businessman. He feels justified in doing this because of the businessman’s ruthless nature. However, from my perspective, the film plays with the question of does two wrongs really make a right?, and that people are not often how they appear on the outside (can’t always judge a book by its cover adage). Alan Rickman, Colin Firth, Stanley Tucci, and Cameron Diaz star in The Gambit movie.
I purchased Ministry of Sound: The Annual 2010 through Amazon U.S. back in December 26, 2009 (when I was living in Orlando, Florida). This collection is three cds and has twenty songs on each cd. Ministry of Sound Annual 2010 has some of the following artists featured within the 3 cds: Prodigy, Example, David Guetta, Kelly Rowland, Example, DeadMau 5, Kaskade, Calvin Harris, 4 Strings, Johnny McDaid, Royksopp, Pitbull, Basshunter, Deborah Cox, September, The Prodigy, Kid Cudi, Snap, DJ Fresh, and many more artists.
I purchased Dave Pearce Dance Anthems 2007 on July 25, 2010 through Amazon UK. There are twenty songs on each of the first two cds. Then, there is the bonus dance anthems dvd. The first two cds and bonus dance anthems dvd contain some of the following artists: Cascada, Snap!, Bizarre Inc., Da Hool, Robert Miles, Paul Oakenfold, Heaven’s Cry, Iio, Eric Prydz, Floyd, Fedde Le Grand, Freemasons, Siedah Garrett, Benny Benassi feat. The Biz, Bob Sinclair & Cutee B Feat. Dollarman & Big Ali & Makedah, Dance Nation plus many more.
My interest in the Brit Awards collections originated with the Brit Awards 2000 collection back in 2001. I was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan through the navy and purchased The Brit Awards 2000 collection during one of multiple port stops (I was stationed on a small ship that was undergoing a six month deployment). This set the stage for me to purchase future Brit Awards collections, with the Brit Awards 2004 being one of them. I purchased The Brit Awards 2004 through Amazon US on November 6, 2010. The Brit Awards 2004 collection consists of two cds and includes among the following artists: Dido, Will Young, Kylie Minogue, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Annie Lennox, Basement Jaxx feat. Lisa Kekaula, Groove Armada, Blur, Kings of Leon, Duran Duran, Jamie Cullum, Amy Winehouse, Sugababes, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Outkast, Sean Paul, Kosheen, Goldfrapp, Muse, Radiohead, David Bowie, Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, and more artists.
I purchased “ Hardcore The Classics 1994-2009” on July 5, 2010 through Amazon UK. Hardcore: The Classics 1994-2009 consists of some of the following artists: DJ Paul, Doctor Who (I’m not joking this is one of the music artists credited on the cd jacket listing),Triple J, SlippMatt & Eruption, Force & Styles, Divine Inspiration, Breeze & Styles, Insight, Visa, Insight, The Collective, United In Dance Feat. Lisa Marie, Basshunter feat. DJ Mental Theo’s Bazzheadz, Sash! Feat. Stunt, Utah Saints, September, Ida Cor, Fedde Le Grand, Dougal, Gammer & Micky Skeedale Feat. Jenna, DJ Yanny presents Terraformer, Angel One, Cascada, United Dance, and more.
I admit that I originally found out about Country Heat 2012 through one of the music recommendations via Amazon Canada. I then purchased Country Heat 2012 on January 9, 2012 via Amazon US only because it was much cheaper to get it through one of the music sellers via Amazon U.S (it was only ten U.S. dollars and five cents during this timeframe, which is lower than the current listed price of $23.83). However, I have purchased some cds through Amazon Canada before and would not rule it out in the future. Country Heat 2012 contains an interesting mix of country songs. Honey Bee by Blake Shelton is one of the songs on this cd that I recognize. However, Let Your Love Speak by Emerson Drive is also a good song that I discovered due to it being featured on this cd. At the time of this writing, there is a song and musician listing of Country Heat 2012 through allmusicdotcom for those who want to know more about the artists and songs featured.
I purchased Future Girls by Smile.dk on January 14, 2010 via Amazon US (while living in Orlando, Florida). I was curious to hear more from the group after first hearing and enjoying their Butterfly song back around 2006/2007 when I was playing a Dance Dance Revolution game on an arcade machine with a friend (it was in a building on the Mayport Naval base). I had also purchased Smile.dk’s Party Around The World cd back on December 9,2008 while living in Norfolk, Virginia (I reviewed Party Around The World on January 30, 2011).This Future Girls compilation twelve songs and two songs that are listed as Malaysian Bonus Tracks: Doo-Bi-Di-Bo (Wild Dance mix) and Butterfly (Anaconda Mix). At the time of the listing Amazon US does not yet have a listing. However, the 12 songs on this cd are: Future Girls, Doo Be Di Boy, Hollywood, Counting On You, Heal My Broken Heart, Kissy Kissy, Love & Devotion, Don’t Let Go, Dragonfly, and Do You?.
I purchased Bravo The Hits 2008 on January 8, 2010 through Amazon US while living in Orlando, Florida. Bravo The Hits 2008 is a two cd set of twenty one songs on each cd and contains some of the following artists: Amy Macdonald, Pink, Rihanna, Duffy, Amy Winehouse, Jason Mraz, Timbaland feat. One Republic, Maroon , Madonna feat. Justin Timberlake&Timberland, Neyo, Alicia Keys,Leona Lewis, Sugababes, Jordin Sparks, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Britney Spears, Moby, Guru Josh Project, Shaggy Feat. Trix & Flix, and more.
I purchased From Paris To Berlin by Infernal on February 27, 2010. My husband introduced me to this group via playing the Paris To Berlin song because of his correct intuitive feeling that I would enjoy the song. There is also a good music cover of Laura Branigan’s Self Control. From Paris To Berlin by Infernal is good for those who are open to listening to European dance/pop songs.
I admit that this Boom Clap song (soundtrack version) by Charli XCX caught my attention after I heard it multiple times on the radio (it is a good song that grew on me). I understand that it may be about something else. However, from my perspective, Boom Clap appears to be a song about having feelings for someone and feeling it intensely in one’s heart (with the lyrics, the sound of my heart). Boom Clap by Charli XCX is a great dance/pop song for those who like romantic melodies.
I admit that I started to enjoy and like Crave You (Adventure Club Remix) by Flight Facilities after hearing it on Pandora radio around the 2012 Spring/2012 Summer season. I actually bought a Playboy Sessions (Paris edition) (mixed by Michael Canitrot) back in October 30, 2012) thinking that this song was on the compilation (the image of the Playboy Paris Sessions would pop up on Pandora radio when the Crave You song played). I have watched the youtube video to two different versions of Crave You by Flight Facilities. There is a toned down version showing how a female is yearning for someone in what appears to be the summertime. Strangely, the person that she has a crush on is mutually attracted to her, but neither seem to be aware of the other person liking them. I would have to say that this video comes close to what the meaning of the song represents. The song version that I purchased is the one that is currently available on youtube through the youtubechannel of Mr.SuicideSheep. Crave You (Adventure Club Mix) is great for those who like electronica love songs with hints of Dubstep music.
These Little Debbie Zebra Cakes were often purchased by my late adoptive mother during both my pre-teen and teen years. She would buy these as an inexpensive household treat for the whole family. These memories were lodged into my subconscious when I decided to buy some during one of my scheduled lunch breaks. These zebra cakes were just as luscious tasting as I remember with just the right amount of frosting and sweetness. Three of my coworkers saw me with them and I freely shared some after they too showed interest in eating one of the zebra cake packs. The Little Debbie Zebra Cake box I bought has 10 snack cakes that come in two per package. Fortunately, I still have managed to lose three pounds (since my last posted reviews in June) because I do my best to be careful in the portion size when I do indulge and strive to walk at least two to four miles at least 3-4 times a week.
I bought this Caress White Peach and Silky Orange Bodywash from my place of employment due to this bodywash being one of my favorite products to shower with (I have also used and enjoyed the Caress White Peach and Silky Orange Blossom soap) . This Caress White Peach and Silky Orange Bodywash smells pleasant while simultaneously cleaning and moisturizing the skin.
I was looking for some affordable and decent water enhancers to make the tap water in my apartment better tasting. I actually am able to drink most bottled waters without needing an enhancer. However, I sometimes have to turn to drinking tap water and frequently look for ways to make cold tap water at least bearable to drink. I spotted Bethenny Frankel’s water enhancers at my job and wanted something to help me drink more tap water while enhancing my weight loss goals (I have successfully lost 29 pounds since October 2013 and both determined and intend to release more pounds). Additionally, I felt guided to eventually try the white cherry, blueberry, and fuji apple flavors because they are affordable. Out of the three flavors I would have to say that the fuji apple is my favorite. However, any of the blueberry, white cherry, and blueberry flavors make the tap or bottled water taste even better.
I use this Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Souffle (contains Agave Nectar & Flax Seed Oil) as a hair moisturizing agent (combined with the Crème of Nature Argan Oil Styke & Shine Foaming Mousse). I spotted this product at my Walmart job and decided to take a chance with it after noticing the listing that it was for thick curly hair. I planned on relaxing my hair that week and decided to take a chance with purchasing this product and I’m glad that I did. I applied The Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Souffle in my hair after I was done shampooing and conditioning my hair. The product blended well into my hair and left it pleasantly smooth. From my experience, this product is also good for relaxed hair types and/or those who must wash (shampoo and condition)their hair every day and/or every other day at the least (I happen to have hair that must be washed daily and/or every other day regardless of if it is in its naturally curly or chemically relaxed state).
I was looking for a couple of hair products that would moisturize my newly relaxed hair. This is especially because I have hair that must be shampooed and conditioned every day and/or every other day at the least (regardless of whether it is in a naturally curly or chemically straightened state) and need hair products that complement hair that must be frequently washed. Fortunately, I came across this brand of Crème of Nature Argan Oil Style and Shine Foaming Mousse at my job. I used this in conjunction with Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & hibiscus Curling Souffle. The results were spectacular, because the foaming mousse blended right into my hair and did not leave a sticky or super oily film.
I must preface this review by stating that I do believe that beauty comes in all skin complexions, hair textures, hair lengths, and whether one has worn a hair weave or not. Additionally, I strive to only relax my hair after at least 6-8 months after the last straightening (the last time I had my hair relaxed was around November 2013 and the last time was during April 2012). Due to this, I can understand that my results may differ from others who I believe are writing on this website with the best intents to inform. I use to keep my hair naturally curly from 2003-2011. However, I started my natural hair journey at the time I was 22.5 years old (around June 2003) as a thinner woman weighing around 135 pounds and it became harder for me to stay a natural when I started gaining weight around the time I was 23.5 years old and then even more by late 2004/early 2005. By spring to summer 2011, it was extremely hard for me to keep my hair natural and even more so difficult by the time I gave up and turned once again to the hair relaxer by April 2012 (my current Amazon profile picture is from Dec. 2011). Overall, I would say that I successfully managed to keep my hair naturally without using a chemical relaxer for 8 years and five months (I even did two "big chops-major haircuts back in 2005 and 2006). As most can tell from my picture, I prefer to keep my hair long and chemically relax it at least once a year. What I am trying to say is that I must be a size six or smaller and/or have attained financially freedom if I ever return to keeping my hair natural and/or keeping it shorter. This is because it is common knowledge that some who wear their hair natural (regardless of skin complexion) have to endure bullying from others who may not yet have realized that beauty comes in all hair textures and skin complexions. However, it is even harder to endure bullying when you are in the process of losing weight and wear your hair both naturally curly and/or short length. Yes, my current Amazon profile picture is actually of my hair blow dried and flat ironed straight from a Virginia mall beauty salon that I went to back in December 2011. The long hair is actually all of my own hair, but I do not consider myself better than others who wear their hair short or use hair weaves (due to my view that beauty comes in all body weights, skin complexions, and hair lengths/hair textures and that women of various races are capable of growing long hair). During my senior year of high school, I was actually lucky to see that growing chemically straightened hair was possible because one of the females in my high school had relaxed hair and the longest hair (yes,it was actually her own hair).
What this has to do with my review is that I used this Dark and Lovely Hair relaxer on my very coarse and curly 3b hair. I bought this relaxer from my Walmart job and chose the Dark and Lovely brand because one of my coworkers (who is highly knowledgeable about beauty products) recommended the Dark and Lovely relaxers that were fortunately available. I had to buy two Dark and Lovely relaxers due to the length, coarseness, and thickness of my hair. This relaxer made my long but coarse hair very smooth and wavy like to the point that one of my coworkers actually asked me if I was wearing remy hair. Some other coworkers during that same month also asked me if the long hair is mine (I politely explained that yes the hair is mine). I am blessed to have coarse hair that grows fast, long, and can take a relaxer well (provided I hold off for at least six months at a time) due to inheriting the genes for growing hair fast from my late biological mother's Native American/Menominee Indian side of the family (my biological aunts also have naturally long hair). My husband helped me with some of the steps of making sure that I evenly applied the relaxer (I could have done it by myself, but felt relieved when he expressed willingness to help me). My husband does not care whether I relax or leave my hair natural (or even whether it is long or short). He only feels strongly that I keep my hair dark brown due to his belief that it enhances my exotic beauty more. Anyhow,I left the relaxer in my hair for around 19 minutes. The Dark and Lovely relaxer worked perfectly on my hair, but the only caveat was that I needed more shampoo after using the shampoos that came with the kit (fortunately I had some Suave shampoo in my bathroom during that time). Please also keep in mind that I used chemical relaxer back in November 2013 before using it again on my (type 3b spirally curly hair) this past Saturday (July 12, 2014). This relaxer is best for women who have coarse hair that is type 3 curly or type 4 curly (one can decipher their hair type through naturallycurlydotcom, essencedotcom, and/or ouidad.com).
I first started getting into drinking Tang juice mix back in 2001. I was still in the navy and the ship I was on was required to stop by places in the Middle East where it was normal for the temperature to easily reach in the upper 90’s/early 100’s. One of my first jobs in the navy involved me working outside and water was just not enough for me to stay energized and hydrated. I started mixing Orange Tang in my drinking water which gave a pleasant taste to the water and myself more energy. I recently bought more Orange Tang mix from my job (including the pineapple orange mix) and find the purchase still worthwhile in both cost and making the tap water more drinkable. Orange Tang is good for those who are looking for an affordable drink mix that gives energy and is palatable.
I admit that it has been all too easy to give in to my craving of Rice Krispy Treats cereal ever since I started working at Walmart. I first started purchasing this cereal through the store that I work at least over 2-3 months ago (probably not too much long after the store’s grand opening last year, maybe at least 3-4 months ago or longer now that I think more about it). As far as I can tell, this cereal has only been available at Walmart (I also remember sometimes purchasing Rice Krispy Treats cereal when I lived in Norfolk, Virginia and possibly at one of the Super Walmart stores near the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida). This cereal really does taste almost close to the rice krispy treats that are available in blue packages just with slightly less marshmallow texture. Truthfully, I would eat this cereal more often. The only reason why I must cut back on my consumption of this cereal and try to eat it as more of an occasional treat is due to the fact that I recently realized that I must strive to eat more in what would boost my energy. Yes, I know that it is popular to think in terms of eating for health. However, what I accidently learned about myself is that I make better eating choices for myself when I aim to eat for energy (though I can understand why many people eat for health). In summary, Rice Krispy Treats cereal is actually very delicious.
I first discovered this cd compilation of The Best of Dance 2005 Vol. 1 around 2009/2010 while living in Orlando, Florida. I was hanging out with my husband at a shopping mall near his school before he had to go to one of his classes. I spotted the Best of Dance 2005 at a music store and decided to purchase it after buying the Best of Dance 2008 compilation on December 9, 2008 (I had ordered the Best of Dance 2008 through Amazon U.S. while living in Norfolk, Virginia and later posted a review via Amazon U.S. on March 1, 2012). The Best of Dance 2008 has a pinkish/violet cover with people enjoying themselves at what looks like a dance club while The Best of Dance 2005 also has images of men and women having fun at a dance club, but with a midnight blue color. The Best of Dance 2005 is a two cd set that is listed to have been made in Germany and has a wide selection of Dance/Trance/Electronic musicians within the two cds. There are twenty songs on each cd and I have to confess that these are some of my favorite songs from this collection: Believe In Me by ATB, Witch Queen of New Orleans by Tom Jones, Born To Be Alive by Easy Jetters, Need To Feel Loved b Reflekt feat. Delline Bass, Take Me To The Top by DJ Yanny, Endless Summer by Siria, Rainbow by Butterfly, and Gasolina by Papa A.P. Although, there are many more good musicians also featured within this two cd collection of the Best of Dance 2005.
I purchased Plumb: Beautiful History, A Hits Collection through Amazon U.S. on July 16, 2010 through Amazon U.S. The assortment of songs in this cd are very healing and soothing. Some are on the dramatic side, but still showcase her rich voice. I first heard music by Plumb around autumn 2006 when I purchased the Trance Party 6 cd (mixed by the Happy Boys) at a navy exchange store on the Mayport,Florida Naval base and heard a dance version of Cut (one of the versions of Cut is featured on this cd). I also enjoy In My Arms song (which I first heard via a radio station in Norfolk Virginia back in 2008). Hold On also touches my soul and encourages me to stay positive during both good and challenging times (I admit that I did not discover Hold On until after I purchased this cd in July 2010). Plumb: Beautiful History, A Hits Collection is best for those who like happy and inspirational pop music.
I purchased Fantasy by DJ Bobo through DJ Bobo’s website around February 2010 (while living in Orlando Florida). Fantasy by DJ Bobo includes a cd jacket for thirteen songs featured on the cd. The music cd jacket also includes a written memorial to another singer named Anthony (Tone) Moriah who was a dear friend to him. There is also a remix of some of DJ Bobo’s popular hits.
I purchased Dream Dance Vol. 54 on February 28, 2010 through Amazon Germany. Dream Dance Vol. 54 is a two cd set of twenty two songs on each cd. The following music artists are among those included on this compilation: Dream Dance Alliance, Scooter, TopModelz, Fragma, Novaspace, Lazard, Jan Wayne, Miss Destiny, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren feat. Van Velzen, Cosmic Gate Feat. Aruna, Chicane, Kyau & Albert, 4 Strings, The Mystery, and more.
I confess that I purchased Education Of A Guardian Angel by Annie Stillwater Gray on exactly Friday July 4, 2014 and received it by Wednesday July 9, 2014. So far, I have reached paged 437 (as the writer’s spirit guide gets ready to take his finals on the spirit guide plane within a spirit guide university)of this very original 597 page book. However, I intend to finish it this week and post an updated review within six months (intuitively, I feel guided to do this because it would give me time to post an update after reading it at least 2-3 more times). I discovered this book via a personalized book recommendation on Amazon U.S. (probably due to my previous interest in books about the afterlife, heaven, guardian angels, spirit guides, spirit helpers, the higher self/soul, strengthening/developing the power of my imagination, increasing my intuition etc.). Please know that I humbly admit that I’m aware that others may question whether or not I’m crazy for posting this review and endorsing this book. However, my own interest in deepening my own relationship/connection with my higher self/spirit helpers/guardian angels/spirit guides compelled me to purchase this book. I do not dub myself as a person who knows it all and/or spiritual guru (I humbly admit that the more I learn, the more I realize that there is still so much for me to know). Additionally, I’m mainly sharing this book as more of a wayshower and/or messenger to the uniqueness of Education Of A Guardian Angel by Annie Stillwater Gray. With those caveats out of the way, I feel guided to share some of the astonishing details included in this book:
A soul must gain the right to become a spirit guide, but is also obviously given a choice on whether they are willing to take on the task. The spirit guide’s role is to help their assigned human successfully navigate the challenges and gifts of earth life. One of their missions in sharing this book and their story is to fulfill their life purposes in helping other humans on earth to connect with their spirit guides. The author gives acknowledgement to fellow writer Dolores Cannon and Ozark Mountain Publishing for helping her book to become a published reality.
Gray’s spirit guide’s name is currently Darcimon Stillwater (he’s had multiple names) and his last earth incarnation was during Jane Austen’s time (his death was in 1836). He was alive in England from 1785 to 1836. He is the author’s assigned spirit guide due to the great love they shared with each other during multiple earth lifetimes (with one of their earliest incarnations starting in Egypt). More details of their love story are obviously included in this book.
Page 324: Annie Stillwater Gray and her spirit guide (Darcimon Stillwater) have a soul/spirit contract to fulfill via helping other humans make strong connections with their spirit guides. One reason is due to helping others make the connection to their personal karma and what they are meant to do while alive (which from what I more clearly understand via this book is that connecting to one’s spirit guides helps to more men and women be more aware of their divine life contracts). The medium/channel of intuition is one of the multiple tools that spirit guides use to help humans. The book emphasizes that every last person living on this earth (regardless of who they are) has at least one spirit guide assigned to help them.
Spirit guides can more easily help a person if their assigned human is aware of their presence and more easily open to the signs of assistance that are being sent their (the human being’s) way. One of Darcimon Stillwater’s “training” sessions involve him being an apprentice to other spirit guides during a major world war where French prisoners are being held in a German prison camp (although I reluctantly admit that I’m still in the process of making out whether the setting is during WWI or WWII). The spirit guide (Darcimon Stillwater) is an apprentice to another spirit guide named Sashma. Sashma is watching over a French prisoner named Frederic that is being held in a cell and endured harsh interrogation from one of the high ranking German officers. I’m guessing the time period may be WWII because the Third Reich is briefly referenced (chapter 11).
I admit that the author got me interested in taking up painting more as a creative outlet/hobby when she was sharing one of her experiences with painting (on one of the spirit guide planes) prior to her current incarnation (page 434). I once came across a book called Brave Intuitive Painting (via a personalized Amazon U.S. recommendation) by Flora S. Bowley, but held off on buying it because I was uncertain on if such a book would be for me. However, the author’s (Annie Stillwater Gray) sharing of channeling her creativity via painting inspired me to explore my creativity via painting and to consider purchasing Brave Intuitive Painting (within 5-6 months).
There is much more enthralling details included in this book for those who are spiritually hungry to know more on how spirit guide communication flows.
At times, I look at Yahoo news online and my free local newspaper for ideas on what might be good to watch (in ways of television and/or movies). However, I have to credit finding out about Masters Of (starring Martin Sheen and Lizzy Caplan) through Entertainment Weekly magazine around 3-4 weeks ago. I was looking through Entertainment Weekly magazine during one of my scheduled lunch breaks during my overnight shift at work when I spotted an article about the Masters Of television show (starring Martin Sheen and Lizzy Caplan) and pictures of scenes from the show. The author of the article wrote it in a way that persuaded me to know more about the show and eventually purchased the dvd on July 3, 2014. The twelve episodes keep one at suspense and the dvd has a jacket that features a brief summary of what each of the 12 episodes are about. Please know that I only have the intent of respect for their real-life partners. However, the scenes of some of the “research work” going on between Martin Sheen’s character of Dr. Masters and Lizzy Caplan’s character of Virginia Johnson highlight strong chemistry and an off the chart dose of intense passion/ steam. Beau Bridges, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Teddy Sears, and Nicholas D’Agosto are listed on the back of the dvd as some of the actors and actresses on Masters Of(the third word is left out due the fact that I’m concerned that writing the third word may clash with Amazon’s terms of profanity in written words) . The back of the dvd also features pictures of the various actors and actresses that are featured in the show. The front of the dvd shows the picture of Martin Sheen as Dr. Masters and Lizzy Caplan as Virginia Johnson. There is a quoted text of the Rolling Stone magazine review of the Masters Of dvd calling this television show “The Best New Show” while the TV guide review on the back says “stimulating and satisfying.” Disc one contains the first three episodes, disco two features episodes 4-6, disc three has episodes 7-9, and the fourth disc has the last three episodes. The following are the special features included within the four dvds for the Masters Of television show:
Cast & Crew Commentary On the Pilot Episode
Deleted Scenes
Making Masters Of
A Masterful Portrayal: Michael Sheen As Dr. Masters
Ahead Of Her Time: Lizzy Kaplan As Virginia Johnson
I preface this review by acknowledging that I do work with some co-workers that are actually nice to me. I’m only briefly mentioning my job as a way to explain away my avoidance in publicly sharing my income. I admit that Prosperity Consciousness: How To Tap Your Unlimited Wealth by Fredric Lehrman caught my attention due to my interest and intent to at least return back to the $50,000 a year income bracket (within 2-4 years) that my husband and I were lucky enough to be in from 2009 until as recently as 2012. Additionally, as recently as 2012, I was able to easily pay 8 months of rent at once and still have plenty of money for groceries, using public transit in the dc. area, and other essentials. Please know that I’m thankful for my job and I’m aware that many of my critics would argue that I’m not being humble or “right” for wanting to re-enter the income bracket that my husband and I enjoyed as recently as 2012. However, if wanting to at least regain the financial income that my husband and I had that gave us a feeling of plenty (within 2-4 years) is not humbling myself and/or wrong, then I do not care to be what is considered humble/modest and/or right. Please also know that I prefer to keep my current financial income a secret, but not because I’m ashamed of it. I’m actually thankful for the money I get (regardless of whether it is similar to what my fellow coworkers get) while simultaneously being in the process of aiming to get back to at least the 2009-2012 financial income level. My public silence on the financial income that I currently make is due to my awareness that fellow Walmart associates might be looking at this review. There is fierce competition even at my (non-manager)job level through my employment and I know full well that I would open a Pandora’s box that is best kept closed if I were to reveal to my coworkers and/or the public how much I get paid as a Walmart employee. I do not really want to confess this, but I understand that I must get practical help to supplement my employment (which is why I reluctantly admit to my intent to attend debtors anonymous for the first time starting this week and two times a week at different places starting next week).I had to also reveal only certain details of my situation to also set the stage on justifying why I prefer to postpone writing a future update on my results of this program until at least August 1, 2018.With this preface out of the way, the following are some of the helpful details included in the Prosperity Consciousness program by Frederic Lehrman:
Planting thoughts in the mind similar to seeds in a garden
Discovering And Changing certain beliefs around money
The five account system for saving money
Playing “prosperity scrabble and channeling surplus energy into a business that serves others
Channeling wealth into all areas of life and having a stress-free relationship with money.
Both my husband and I enjoy the Adventure Time series. My husband purchased a season 7 pass and has it saved in his itunes account (which was how we found out about the new episodes). The episodes get zanier this season (such as the reaction that Finn understandably feels after finding his father or someone that may only have been pretending to be his father and just playing along). Then there is the episode that has Princess Bubblegum recruiting Jake and Finn’s help to save the Candy Kingdom from the Sky witch, after rootbeer man died while trying to help save it.
I confess that I was intrigued with purchasing this Globe Collector’s Issue of Jackie: 20 Years After Her Tragic Death after spotting it in one of the magazine racks at my Walmart job. I bought this issue on July 5th (the price was $5.99 for this single issue before my employee discount). Anyhow, this issue contains some very juicy details of the late Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy’s life such as:
Page 24: Jacqueline Kennedy was aware of JFK’s affairs and had a feeling that her husband would stay married to her. Additionally, she was known to have wit, charm, and a sense of humor. It is listed that her and Queen Elizabeth had a chat about their passion for horses back in 1961.
Pages 26-27: Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy’s father in law Joe became a wealthy businessman through real estate, the stock market, and being one of the only legal importers of Gordon’s Gin and Dewar’s Scotch. Apparently, it is listed that Joe heard the rumors of JFK’s affairs and believed that wives need to put up with that stuff (husbands having mistresses). However, according to this magazine issue, Joe did not want to risk her leaving his son before the 1960 election and is said to have carefully paid off Jackie one million dollars for sticking by JFK’s side throughout the campaign trail (it is written that the one million dollars was actually a drop in the bucket of his immense wealth).
Pages 54-55:Jacqueline Kennedy married into a life of great opulence when she became the wife of Ari Onassis (he was estimated to be worth 4 billion dollars at the time of his death). However, both of her second husband’s children were said to not be the most comfortable with her as their father’s new wife. Naturally, it was because they had hoped that their father would have remarried their mother Tina Livanos. Despite this tension, Ari Onassis had great love and patience for her. However, it is listed that Ari Onassis went back into the arms of his previous mistress (opera star Maria Callas) after he found a love letter that his wife (the late Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy) wrote to her former beau (attorney Roswell Gilpatric). He died a short time later and Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy inherited 26 million dollars after his passing. Onassis’s daughter Christina went to court in vain to try to keep Jacqueline Kennedy from obtaining the 26 million dollars. Jackie’s business advisor and later lover Maurice Templesman helped Jackie to transform the 26 million dollars into a several hundred million dollar fortune. However, in later pages, it is written that Templesman stayed married to his wife while keeping Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy as his lover.
Pages 56-65: Frank Sinatra, Warren Beatty, movie mogul Michael Cacoyannis, New York writer and newsman Pete Hamill, 70’s Washington D.C. social king Alejandro Orfila, and American Ballet Company artist John Kriza are known to be among the multiple lovers that Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy had as she got older.
The Man Who Tapped The Secrets Of the Universe by Glen Clark tells the story of Walter Russell, a man of many accomplishments. Among some of the interesting details in this book:
Page 16: Despite not formally studying architecture,he was credited to have designed and build twenty million dollars worth of buildings in New York City such as: the Hotel des Artistes on West 67th street, the first Hotel Pierre occupying a whole Park Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets, Alwyn Court at 58th and Seventh Avenue, and the Gothic Studio opposite the Museum of Natural History on 79th street. Russell is also credited with the duplex studio apartment idea.
Page 17: He had been elected President of the Society of Arts and Sciences around the time that a medal was to be given out to Thomas Edison. He did a portrait sculpture for Thomas Edison and eventually portrait busts for other people stemming from the success of the Edison sculpture (page 18).
Walter Russell is also listed towards the end of the book as having been a guest at the White House, first as an official painter and then as an official sculptor.
I admit that my husband got me interested in watching the Venture Brothers series. I watch this and other cartoons both as a way of stimulating and increasing my current creativity and for further understanding my husband’s likes and inner world. Both of us watch a wide range of tv shows just with different perspectives. For example, my tv watching interests lean towards the range of Adventure Time (which I got my husband interested in), Merlin, Masters Of (the show starring Martin Sheen and Lizzy Caplan: I must leave out the second word to the name of the show due to Amazon’s term of posting what might be considered profane), Sherlock, Mad Men, Devious Maids,Entourage, Scandal, House of Cards, Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, The Care Bears, Winx Club,Witches Of East End, Once Upon A Time, Charmed, Wizards of Wavery Place, Naruto, Avatar, Absolutely Fabulous, A Bit Of Fry & Laurie, The Black Adder, Alice In Wonderland etc. In contrast, my husband’s tv interests lean towards the following shows: Red vs. Blue, Castle, Lucy: Daughter Of The Devil, Futurama, Ugly Americans, Burn Notice, Archer, Neighbors From Hell, Phineas and Ferb, Dr. Who, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, American Dad, Animaniacs, Chowder, Creature Comforts etc. We started out watching some of the beginning episodes of Venture Brothers together and he persuaded me to start watching season 3. My husband has multiple seasons of Venture Brothers on his itunes account and already watched many of the episodes across the different seasons of this series. However, he was willing to re-watch season 3 with me. The one episode from season 3 that sticks out the most to me was when Rusty Venture was trying to secure an important deal with a high ranking military official. He was not able to do so, but some “stranger” came to Rusty Venture’s rescue willing to look after his sons and rehabilitate the business. The stranger also had some interesting superpowers that facilitated the ability of Rusty being hypnotized back to his childhood to uncover the subconscious program. Unearthing this hidden psychological software indirectly related to why Rusty Venture needed assistance to begin with. Towards the end of this episode, I was still trying to guess where exactly this stranger came from and even asked my husband since he was already familiar with the show. Venture Brothers season 3 is best for those who are fine with watching adult themed cartoons.
I purchased this Grammy Awards 2014 cd around at least 3-4 months ago at my Walmart job. There are 18 songs on this cd from some of today’s popular artists across various music genres. For instance, the GrammyAwards 2014 cd starts out with the “Locked Out of Heaven” pop/rock song by Bruno Mars and ends with the contemporary country song “Take A Little Ride” by Jason Aldean. Grammy Awards 2014 is great for those who like to listen to an eclectic range of music by various artists.

My husband heard from a coworker that this Denny's was open. I agreed to try the place and both the service and food were pretty decent. My husband had the chicken fried steak meal while I had the ultimate skillet. We also both shared some nachos and I only was able to eat a few bites of some strawberry mini pancake bites that I ordered (due to being full from my meal and the appetizer).
My husband and I decided to eat at Garbanzo after spotting that it served Mediterranean food. The food tasted better than we thought and both of us went with the you build it plate options. The only difference was that my husband chose the chicken plate option and then choose various toppings such as the hummus, babganoush, and tzatiki sauce. Meanwhile I chose the gyro meat plate option and selected what I can remember to be the following ingredients: hummus, tomato salad, red onion, cilantro sauce, garlic sauce, tzatiki sauce The cashier and the person giving us our food were courteous.
